My DH is just the same

I have even stopped him coming to Tesco when I go food shopping as I spend more than I need to as he just throws a load of junk food in the trolley and I end up spending more on his junk food than I do on the food I buy to last us for a week

And just when you think you have them trained... they sneak a chinese takeaway in the front door... I've found online Tesco deliveries make it much easier to stop him coming with me shopping... Meat is from local butcher so not much to distract him there lol

My OH does this as well, I have to sneak off to the supermarket on my own otherwise we end up spending a fortune on crap like choclate spread (which he takes the lid off to smell and go mmmmmmmm! and then it stays in the cupboard for months on end) and all kinds of other junk men are easily swayed by adverts too and mine insists on the latest, greatest expensive dishwasher/wash powder which I tend to buy once, keep the box and re-fill with Wilkos specials (he's none the wiser!!). Also if I do a cheap healthy tea like chicken and veggies or stew he goes ergh not veg again!!
Remember ....its not a bargain unless you need it :D

I'm veggie, but the one thing my family will eat @ my house without complaint is veggie stir fry and noodles (my dad cant get enough of it if i use my own sweet and sour source) Cheap and popular. Great as parents provide wine to go with meal:D:D
Dogs return to eat their vomit, just as fools repeat their foolishness. There is no more hope for a fool than for someone who says, "i am really clever!"

Definately not alone, still need to go through our receipt off this weeks Tesco shop, I was doing the clubs BBQ shop and left him with our list and trolley, he doesn't come shopping often but when he does he's worse than the kids, well that didn't have on it milkshakes (we have mix in the cupboard!) 3 frozen pizzas etc etc
One day I might be more organised...........
