I have spent this week browsing around for butternut squash seeds and came across this tonight, which I thought quite a good price at 49p. Although postage is 99p, bringing the total to £1.48, it still works out cheaper than some of the normal priced squash seed packets.

Last year I planted fresh seeds and pith from a butternut squash bought from a supermarket and everyone of them germinated. Must be worth a try even if they don't come true to variety.

Did the same with acorn squash too.

Ahh thanks for the tip, my seeds have arrived now but hopefully if my plants grow well and crop I can try that from my own harvest :T
