Just got back from my local Focus DIY, they have already reduced alot of plants by 50%, but they had further reductions this morning on selected items.
Wicker hanging baskets of pansies were originally £13.49,then £6.74,now 99p.
Large pots of Pennisetum Grasses were £7.99, now 99p.
Alot of perennials such as aquilegia,houttuynia,which were £5.34,then £1.34 are now 49p at the till.0 -

Bought some bits at Wyevale garden Centre yesterday and they are giving away a free heather with every purchase.
They had vouchers for these on the till but they just gave me the plant without asking. Its a limited time offer i believe.0 -

Lidl's seeds are always v.v. cheap - 50p a packet. Also this site does seeds at 50p a packet for all the old favourites:

However, the seeds just come in their foil packets without instructions, so you need to either know what you're doing or have a very good book!0 -
Netto's have seeds for 19p a pack, they've got veg, flowers and herbs. Good range as well.

Make friends with person in your supermarket/local delicatesan and ask if you can have the empty plastic pate dishes. Ideal for shallow indoor bulbs - use bulb compost.

a home made Xmas gift that will not only be colourful but very likely have a lovely scent!0
