    my brother in law came to look this afternoon...he knows a corgi registered fitter who owes him a favour...this guy is coming round in the morning to see what he can do with the gas pipe and he will fix the leak at the same time.......i can still put up a pic if you want me too

    big copper pipe is the gas pipe...greeny coloured one is the copper pipe with the leak coming from the right hand part of the T. its hard up against the skirting board and tight up against the gas pipe

    under the red dish (we are catching the drips in that) is another copper pipe and the white ones are the water feed to the boiler
  • Get him to take both the compression joints off & put on end feed fittings.


    Its got to come off to seal it properly so you might as well fit something that won't leak after.

    I would be tempted to solder around the gas pipe (not with gas in it) so long as its legal.


    Looks like someone didn't bother cleaning down the pipes after dumping flux & concrete on them.
