    Well we have spent another £6.36. It would have been stupid to not pick up what we did to be honest.

    Got 1L of orange juice, 800g tiger bread loaf (by the way if anyone knows a way of making this my fiance would be really happy, we've looked but not really had much luck :o), white chocolate spread (my partner really likes this, just hope it lasts him more than a few days :rotfl:).

    Now for the savings:
    • 6 bananas weighing 983g - 47p --> was £1.37
    • 4 peaches weighing 498g - 36p --> was £1
    • 1 lemon weighing 146g - 8p --> was 20p
    • 1 head of broccoli weighing 327g - 37p --> was 76p
    • 8 carrots weighing 868g - 22p --> was 62p
    • 250g of mushrooms - 36p --> was 74p
    • 1 red pepper weighing 145g - 10p --> was 30p
    • 1 orange pepper weighing 146 - 10p --> was 30p
    • 2 yellow peppers weighing 336g - 30p --> was 60p
    • Tomatoes weighing 225g - 35p --> was £1.25
    • 1kg of small potatoes - 32p --> was 50p
    • Small potatoes weighing 851g - 21p --> was 50p
    • Coffee cake for partner - 76p --> was £1.08
    Saving on the above items £5.22 :money:. Which means our bill should have come to £11.58 :eek:. We would have gone over budget by £4.95. Instead we are still 27p within our £115 monthly budget as it stands :rotfl:. I do love it when we go to a store at the right time for reductions even if we only went in for bananas, carrots and tomatoes :o. Now I really can't see a reason why we would need to go shopping before the end of the month but will put a final total up at the end of my month just in case. To be honest I really don't want to spend anymore so will make sure there is no need to.

    Hello once again, on way home today picked up a small loaf, a crusty stick and an unintended pot of Gu chocolate mousse that I found reduced to half-price, so a small treat there too. Very much doubt I will be spending anything else from the grocery budget this month so declaring at £98.48 for July. Just squeaked it! :jSo pleased since it's my first go at a GC, let's hope it wasn't just beginner's luck!

    Please put me down for £90 for August MrsM!
  • Declaring at £133.24 for July :o

    Please can you put me down for £100 in August, thanks

    Final shop of the month and I've spent £42.72, which means ... I've blown my budget and come in at £192.66. I shall try to do better next month! For August, I shall try for £200 and see what happens. :)

    NSD yesterday
    £6.27 spend today on naan breads, milk, ice-cream, frozen mushrooms and baking items (chocolate, soft brown sugar, flaked almonds)

    I'm now over budget for this month (by £2.71), and even more 'in debt' against my year-to-date target for the end of July :o

    Shouldn't need anything else this month, but not declaring as a final figure yet just in case ;)

    Target for August will be £105 please Mrs M :)
