You obviously feel that Tesco should foresake some of their annual £2 billion profit to keep down the cost of these goods.

7 days is normal in my book when giving notice of proceedings

I find this thread a bit of a joke but heres something serious. If you do sue them then you may have to show the court that you followed civil procedure rules otherwise it may well get thrown out, trust me it has happened before. Play it safe and give them 14 days

Unless you have managed to get their home addresses, these will still end up on the desk of the lowliest agent in the mail section of the complaints department (possibly having bounced around various departments who are only to glad to lighten their load by saying that it must be someone else's responsibility). The person who signs for the mail in a large offce building is almost never the person who has anything to do with dealing with it.
