After the boys, the kitchen was the other thing the laydees on the thread seem a bit struck by!.

I well up two, maybe three times a day. Two ovens dontchaknow. Very useful at Christmas. Meal for one in one, apple pie in t'other.

Almost exactly, apart from the usual detritus of living. I don't think the DIY SOS people would want me to feel I was living in a showhome or a public building. In fact, they said so.

But being a bit of a compulsive cleaner has been a boon. Specially with strangers knocking on the door requesting the full tour...
