Yes, accidents do happen but an accident is when something couldn't be prevented. Whilst I don't agree with ambulance chasing, the rail company knew there was a problem and the OP could have been prevented from falling if a wet floor sign had been used - everyone who is slagging off the OP should understand that it is about health and safety and a duty of care to their customers. I'm glad to see that the OP got her out of pocket expenses back.
