even more bizarre another search done by creation has now disappeared that one was done 21/07/10, back to 4 searches, has this happened to anyone else? :D

so now the 2 searches from sygma have gone does this mean the duplicate application flag wont show up now, or will I be on an internal database any help appreciated, thanks.

Wouldn't put it past Sygma to have stopped most of their cards TBH.

Sygma declined my credit increase request - "after careful consideration and after reviewing your account.... This decision has been based on our Company criteria relating to credit limit increases.". Would it be worth appealing that as it doesn't actually say what "Company criteria" is.

If I ask for a manual review and include evidence of savings & student loan? I know they probably won't take a "threat" to close the card into account, but I will as £200 is useless - thinking of also putting that in the letter and saying if you don't feel I'm worthy of an increase please close the account?

I know you probably won't take no notice of this but phone them up and ask what your internal score is with them.
When they send 0% and credit card increases to their customers you have to get over 450 score points to get these offers.
If you are under this score of 450 you will not be entitled to any offers including getting a letter through your door explaining to you how they are increasing your limit.

Mine was bang on the 450 so don't know how high they go.

By the way this is the absolute truth that they internally score the individual b4 sending out any offers and if you speak to them nicely or get someone with a brain on the phone they will tell you what your score is.
