Sygma Bank Credit Cards

Cheers, izools. So the 4 month rule doesn't apply anymore then? Also, I see Star-Fire managed to get 0% for 9 months when he increased his limit. How do you do that? Is it as simple as asking for for an offer like that when you speak with them?
Thanks0 -
No the four month rule DOES still apply but some of their staff, mistakenly, think it doesn't.
They're confused between auto increases and requested in creases.
If you call about offers they will tell you if you have any, yes. They said I can have another 6 months 0% on my silver card last week which is funny because I've closed the account...Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48

Does anyone know how long you have to wait before you can reapply for the Creation card after you have closed your account?
My situation is that i currently have 3 Sygma cards (Creation,Flybe & Silver).I am being made redundant at the end of March and with some of my redundancy payment i will be paying off and closing all these cards.I also have £3000 0% BT on my Halifax cc that i am going to chip away at until the BT expires in October. So my thinking is that i will then reapply for the Creation card and transfer the remaining balance from Halifax.0 -
I don't know if you can. Sygma are trying to get me to re-open my Silver account nearly five months after I closed it. They're tempting me with 0% on new balance transfers for six months again though.
You may get a repeat offer from Creation without having to close, wait, and re-applyCashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48

6 months from the time of your last application.....
Is there any movement on this if you speak to one of the underwriters before an application I wonder?
I last applied in October and having had a recent round of raises on both my Vanquis and Capital One cards wondered if I could try again within the 6 months?!?0 -
the rises could go against you, but wouldnt apply to sygma or it will auto decline0

Wrong if he apply for a different sygma card it will be classed as a whole new application.
So, from what you say, if I'd applied for a Silver last time out in October, I could apply for a Flybe (for example) before the 6 months?
The latest raises will take effect on Vanquis on 5th March and Capital One on the 31st March, so was hoping to get in before the rises are posted on the CRA's.0 -

IME
March 09 applied and accepted Silver
April 09 applied and declined Flybe
May 09 applied and declined myworld (due to duplicate flag)
July 09 applied for and Auto-refered for myworld and DAYS card , BOTH ACCEPTED after underwriter intervention.
Also the auto-refer is basically a decline if there is not underwriter intervention WHICH HAS TO be initiated by the applicant0
