404 is their website. Check your link is still valid (if you've saved it in your bookmarks), as sometimes sites are redesigned and so links need updating. Mine is working fine now though

I have read more than a few posts in this thread relating to Sygma issued cards, credit limits and acceptance criteria. When I say a few, I mean more than half but not all . . . So please don't shoot me down in flames if this has already been posted but here goes . . .

With regards to minimum periods on applications for Sygma issued cards I made applications for the Creation Mastercard, FlyBe, JJB and Silver cards all in the space of four days; one after the other.

Result? I got an instant acceptance for Creation Mastercard and FlyBe with limits of 6k and 5k respectively. I had 7-10 day decision notices for the Silver and JJB cards but they both dropped through my letterbox within the sepcified period and got another 5k on Silver along with 1.5K on JJB.

The applications were made when I had 35 searches on my Equifax file (who I believe Sygma seraches soley) in one month.

Personally I'm not a big believer on how much of an impact the amount of searches has on a decision of whether to lend or not aslong as your credit history is squeeky clean.

I probably havn't added much more to this thread that hasn't already been said however I thought I would share my experience with Sygma. I have to say I quite like this French outfit!

I previously applied for an MBNA card and got a knock back, today i applied for the Sygma Crations card, the one with the free flights, and got accepted with a £3000 limit and 19.7 APR.

Basically i want to use it to do a credit transfer from my Barclaycard Gold which free transfer time comes to an end in a month or two.

Am i doing the right thing, they seem to be fine reading through a couple of the posts on here but certainly don;t want to go down the wrong road, had a nightmare of a time with a Vanquis card in the past.

    Cheers

    John

No issues with them, but their online is crap
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

Yep, they're a helluva lot better than Vanquis but still have their pitfalls - like all card providers. Fairly middle of the road I'd say :o

You know the Creation Mastercard (when applied for via Moneysupermarket.com) gives 17 months interest free - Flybe card only six months interest free.

they seem to be good at increases, silver £1,000 - £1200 - £1800 in under 2 years. flybe 1000 - 1600 dont know why as make them zero cash
