maybe too close, or her job.....Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

While applying for a flybe card, on the bank account section it says it cant find that account number at the sort code given, when I'm entering it exactly as it is on my bank statement.
My bank details in question are with Santander!
Can anyone offer any help on this please?0 -

Hi All,
After following this thread, I decided to bite the bullet and apply for the Silver Mastercard. I don't have a hideous credit history, just some late payments from 2+ years ago when I became unemployed.
To my amazement, I was accepted with an 18.9% APR, credit limit of £2K, and 0% BTs for nine months. I say amazement, as I was declined by my bank, HSBC, for both an OD and CC.
I just wanted to ask: are Creation good with giving repeat offers?
And thank you everyone for all the useful information.0 -
If anyone has or is having the same problem as me where the online application doesn't recognise your bank account number the number you need to call in case of this is 087137692240

Is "Sygma Bank" actually a bank ?
I know that they don't have branches exactly, but do they have deposit accounts etc ? Do they have a banking licence ?
I'd never heard of them until I got a Flybe credit card.
My general impression of them so far is...
They gave me a credit limit that was higher than I needed (£4000 straight away) and the application took about a minute to complete after I hit the "submit" button. Nothing in any way "human" checked my application.
They keep sending me junk mail trying to get me to use the cash facility (at 22.9% APR I think I would have to be in prison in another country to make me mad enough to use it!)
The above two points make me view them as risky lenders.
Customer service is very average, but the Brummie accents are a welcome change to those companies that still insist on off-shoring their call centres.
Although I have not used the airline perks (not even the two free tickets that came with the card), I am quickly getting points towards free flights etc so all in all it seems a good card to have.0 -

After speaking to Creation on the phone about this problem, they claim this is a fault with Santander and not the Creation card application system, due to the sort code being a new sort code, so anyone who has a new santander account which has recently been migrated from A&L or Abbey forget applying for any of these cards as it wont work:(
Its funny that I've not experienced this problem with any other organisation;)0 -
Creation's loss, if they're gonna be pig ignorant and not address the problem more fool them, it's they who are gonna loose customers they'd otherwise have gainedCashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48
