I bow down to your knowledge!! :rotfl::rotfl:

Mate it just takes time for people to accept that I am the grandmaster of knowledge when it comes to most the banks :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Matt there is one bank which upgrades still. That's Abbey. It's quite a long process. Try opening an Instant Plus account, it makes the route shorter.

    HTH

Ahh sorry mate, you mean santander - they are not a bank in my opinion ergo I never mentioned them!! :rotfl: :rotfl:

I thought he wanted to know about proper banks, not mickey mouse outfits!! :rotfl:

FD and Private banking score harshest mate then its a free for all to be fair.

Barclays and co-op basics are easiest, HSBC and RBS are the hardest..... thats about that really! Personally, for you - keep hsbc and close all your others, you'll never need them mate. Wait the 6mth and then open a second account with hsbc and you'll get a second o/d if necessary too.....

I love them even though they give me a headache lol - cos I know there aint any better other than First Direct who keep calling me a tight arsey and won't give in to my seductive flirting! :rotfl:

Interesting, got bored last week and applied for a Capital One progress card, was accepted instantly online even though I closed my Class Visa only back in Feb this year.

Rang up and was told even though accepted has gone to underwriting and will hear in 7-10 days if accepted?

Anyway, a pin number landed on my door mat yesterday for a capital one card, so I phoned them up and asked about the card and limit, I was told that it was a World Mastercard with £100 limit?

    Confused.com:doh:
Can anyone shed any light on this please?
Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.
  • Reason yours looks like that (same as mine did) is because you were allowed one when you were accepted for the account, but you never took it out did you?

    I did, I took £500 on a/c 1 and £200 on a/c 2..... :D:D

I wasn't asked if I wanted one and didn't request one in case it lowered my chance of getting the account?

Is it worth applying for one or waiting? Does a decline lower the behaviour score...I am building it up nicely so far...salary paid in april, may & today average £2k per month, lots of debit card transactions, not gone under £500 balance, have a linked saver crediting £250 per month
