It would have been useful to share your opinions/experiences about Granite with davelee as he is obviously considering applying.

To be fair, it was a very closed question. I was hoping he would come back with more specifics about what information he was looking for :)

What "I" consider my opinions (for example, I have an opinion about the design of the card) might NOT be the opinions that the poster was looking for :)

(Plus, it seems the poster already has his own opinion of Vanquis :

so specifics would be better :)

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what CC company I should try applying with next?

I have Vanquis, Aqua and more recently Capital One classic.
This thread has me so pumped, I headbutted my dog and we both screamed.

Definitely a card from Creation, perhaps the Flybe card.

I can't see how an appeal will do you any favour's with a default still on your file.

I understand that and queried whether it was useful but having attained 3 sub prime cards with the default so far and with Creation appearing to award cards to "sub prime" customers, as well as that can be defined, I thought I might try an appeal?

    ANyone have experience of such?

    Just a quick question people...

if you get a letter saying you owe some money from a DCA, so you request they send you a copy of the bill, and they want to charge you for this, do I have to pay or is it their responsability to provide evidence of what I 'owe'?

    Thanks

It is their responsibilty to prove you owe it, not your responsibility to prove you don't. Any costs are for them to pay and if it turns out you do owe it, then they can add it to your debt. If you don't owe it, or it can't be enforced, too bad for them you don't have to pay it.
