reckon i could get a 0%bt offer if i decided to go down this route? or best to go with another card provider?

The only way to find that out is to try, I think the BT offer is for new cards, but you could check with them, to make sure. I'd say try a new lender, for example, Barclaycard.

    That'll be why then ;)

They can't offer you anything with no turnover on the account - the internal lending limits, as with any bank, are based on turnover, average / minimum / maximum balance, and the such like.

Unless you use a bank account as your main account it's unlikely to generate any lending limits with any bank :(

It took a long time of running plenty of funds through the LTSB account I had with all my direct debits etc set up before they even agreed an overdraft; they still hadn't agreed a credit card. They seem quite strict with their internal lending policies...

    Edit: HSBC FTW!

iZools you need to get your !!! into gear, and get posting updated images of your wallet lol!! Of your Gold and Platium Lloyds' card's and HSBC card, too. You know i'll keep pestering you!! lol

    I'll do mine too :)

Halifax are rather awesome with that for me :D I can't wait to see if it's gone up next Monday, hopefully! They weren't even my main account and I've got 1.7k showing (although as they charge you to even use it I suspect that plays a part....). I now use that card for cash withdrawals so maybe that'll help a bit more...

When I last applied for a Halifax account they declined me. But I'm with HSBC and they're good.

I had that last year, they said within 48 hours when I phoned up and wanted to know what was going on. Kept checking that link and eventually it did come through that I'd been declined. Was accepted 6 months later though

Sutton - I had posted piccies of the Gold and Platinum LTSB cards a couple of months ago but I've since given my Photobucket accont a big clear out so they probs won't appear any more. Unfortunately I no longer have the cards or JPGs but I do have the LTSB Premier debit card so I'll do a wallet contents pic a bit later for you :o

I'll have to do another one at the weekend when my HSBC Cheque guarantee card and credit card arrive ;)

EDIT: Good Luck with Halifax - they don't seem too strict from what I've seen; partly because they won't let you have a debit card or chequebook until you've deposited atleast a ton in the account
    Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48

Thanks for the new images, when they finally appear :p lol

I went into the HSBC branch today to open an additional account, it all went through and I'm now aloud a CGC on my primary account too, so the branch pi**es all over telephone banking! :)

I may do wallet picage too however I don't think my camera lens is good enough to fit all of my plastic in on the picture. I had to buy a wallet costing £30 because it was the only one I could find with enough card compartments.
