Having problems with paypal - To cut a long story short, Someone made a dispute and paypal made the mistake and refunded them the money and then noticed that i did post the tracking number etc etc and everything was ok and now the person has done a runner and paypal wont reverse my balance due to there mistake.

Made New paypal account but got to get all new debit/credit cards to allow me to use the account. No big deal cause am away in 2 days for a few weeks and wont be using the cards i am renewing anyway.

Hi, haven't been on for a while, been busy and no real changes to anything, besides Sygma upped my credit limit to £1750 from £1300. I did it on the internet, infact, i was a little early in doing it, about 4 or 5 days, but they still increased it.

Anyway, I rang up lloyds today, to see if I had a CPD marker. I thought I'd check, anyway, there seems to be one there. I asked the adviser if there was one there and he said "Well I can't say, really, but have you had problems with credit in the pass?" So i concluded from that telephone call that there was, she went on to try and sell me this ID aware, thing. Profit out of doom for them!!

iZools etc what do you think?

    Haha. "What do I think"...

Well; there's no way to be totally sure why it's there and what you can do to remove it, seems to be based on not much atall and somewhat random from my experience.

Do you use your overdraft often? What's your running balance / minimum balance like?

Kinda glad to see the back of LTSB to be honest, HSBC gave me a #1,000 overdraft and #1,500 credit card straight off the bat.

Cheers, HSBC are so much better, it's just I wanted to know tbh. Curosity killed the cat, and all that :o

I don't have an overdraft and I don't actually use the account. Should i ring them again and ask them again?

    That'll be why then ;)

They can't offer you anything with no turnover on the account - the internal lending limits, as with any bank, are based on turnover, average / minimum / maximum balance, and the such like.

Unless you use a bank account as your main account it's unlikely to generate any lending limits with any bank :(

It took a long time of running plenty of funds through the LTSB account I had with all my direct debits etc set up before they even agreed an overdraft; they still hadn't agreed a credit card. They seem quite strict with their internal lending policies...

    Edit: HSBC FTW!

    I think it's pretty easy.

When I moved from my old address to my new address, I didn't change my address with Santander for about 3 years, when i got around to doing it, i just went into branch with my DL and they found me and changed the address.

reckon i could get a 0%bt offer if i decided to go down this route? or best to go with another card provider?
