    Absolutely spot on mate.

    Far from it.

There aren't like any other bank, infact their countless awards sets them apart. Their customer services remains top of all banks in UK.

    Sour grapes much. ;)

Yes agree if someone's got some sort of fetish talking to customer service all day long, but we all know to a normal human being earning say 25k a year paying their bills on time and keeping their account in order their would be no reason to talk to customer service's atall.

For that reason most high street banks are basically the same.

How can calling customer services be a fetish? They give you £200 if you don't like banking with them.. which other bank does that?

LOL whatever floats your boat I suppose, sour grapes think not TBH fair do's I would not personally pass the credit check but then even if I would I would not apply to them just personal choice, I prefer banks that have branches you know actually on the High Street I know they are few and far between nowadays , at the end of the day they do not offer anything different to any other bank well apart from what you point out above easy 200 quid I suppose............................

Anyway no sour grapes if this is what you want and what you have worked towards then good luck to you and I hope it works out for you ;)

Me personally I will get excited like this as and when and if I ever get an Amex Black Card now there is something to shout about ;)

Well if they are that good you will never see your £200 then.

At the end of the day everyone has their own opinion agree to disagree,i was just stating that the normal joe public go to work get paid, set up direct debits and draw money out,in my opinion thats what most banks provide.

Pretty sure you can use HSBC branches.

Just because you don't care about customer service (I also don't care), doesn't mean everyone else shouldn't.

You could say the same with credit cards, yet you posted dozens of times moaning about how everyone should be calling Sygma sub-prime on here a while ago.

    Little update from me;

Capital One didn't increase my credit limit on the 4th statement, having paid in full each month.

Vodafone accepted me for a new contract (Orange about to expire) for the new Nokia N8 this week. 2 years @ £32.50 pm (including inclusive 0845, 0871 numbers).

    Think that's it for now.
Remember this: nothing worth doing is easy.

If I pay for something online that's £930 and I have £800 credit limit, will it be declined or go through but charge me?
