i ve won £198 on football bets so far this week ...need to apply for somethink but do not know what to apply for befor i go to work @ 12
That's good work with football, be careful if you're only doing normal betting though. Even though there are things I'd bet on normally, I do very very little normal betting nowadays, most of the time the odds don't reflect the true risk, it's just if you know an outsider has a chance then it's worth it... My team were 6/5 with a +1 handicap the other night, we took a 2 goal lead and drew in the end, but that was the only "normal" one I can remember from the last few months! I won't reach my target, I've only got tonight (and only 2 full market games) - freshers starts tomorrow so I won't be around!0 -
Evening folks... Just as an update for a silly thing described in the thread "Natwest did search before I agreed to it" - I looked around what details RBS do need for a C/A, and it made me realise they've been searching my credit file all along the way - and out of boredom I did check it on two different days
As I had nothing to lose, I clicked through one more application, hoping that if they see the number of searches, they should be able to account for those. Equifax later sent me an update that RBS had put six searches on my file  I did not yet check, it could be three full+three id searches, or six unrecorded searches.
Almost a month later I actually have a full account up and running with an activated card+online banking. Maybe the O2 money card (which is actually issued by Natwest) could have helped me too as they may know my ID?
And Tesco just sent me an application for their card, even with a full CCA conditions brochure. Obviously it can't be guaranteed, but sure it looks tempting
It also made me think that the main things they can tell is my spending there and how long am I on my current address - I told them my new address much later after moving - it could be just 12 months ago. Certainly less than 18 months - so it looks like a year at the current address may be a basic criteria.Enjoy the silence...0 -

Woohoo congratulations!!! Was there any requirements such as income, employment etc?
How many searches do you have on your files? What's the repayments like? So many questions!
I so want to apply now. We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

They never asked for income for me, but they may do, they put home maker for for me the income when blank.0 -

Did you get the iPad right away? £22 is very affordable, especially at those rates. I'm actually considering driving to the store right now. We’ve had to remove your signature. Yes rang up at 2pm to put buy, drove across to Telford. I walked in and they processed it, it took 30 mins from Start to finish! Very good experience!0 -
