If I hadn't been bankrupt, and I cam on here as a new member, mentioning only my current circumstances:
£2625 in debt with two empty credit cards
Up to date on all my accounts with no arrears or other outstanding adverse data
NET monthly income of £1,500 (Salary + Tax Credits + DLA)
Repaying £600 a month of my debt after having replaced some ageing and faulty electrical goods
Not using my cards again simply concentrating on repaying my debt with the intention of paying the maximum annual subscription into an ISA from March onward
Would you be ripping into me accusing me of making bad decisions?
No. Because I've been bankrupt that somehow makes the decisions wrong. But if someone hadn't been bankrupt made the same decisions they wouldn't be viewed as bad, or as putting them in a crippling / ovecomitted / irresponsible position, would they?
Its more than just that mate. You're right, i'd not be ripping into you. However the fact you are just out of BR and applying left right and centre worries me that you have not learned and it is people like you that give BR the stigma and bad name it attracts as a result of what you're doing!
You should be thankful you have anything (in the old days you'd be !!!!!!ed for 6yrs remember) - you're still a kid !!!!!! - My daughter is your age lol... she owes nothing, not a bean.2010 - year of the troll

Applying left, right, and centre? I've applied for three products in the last six months.
I have been approved for two of those three applications.
I have 3 searches in the last six months on EQ and none on EX.
Go figure.
And you're right. I should be glad I've got anything. And I am! Duh... that's why I'm sharing my experiences... because I'm very glad I've got what by rights I shouldn't have been approved for for years to come. Which is why I'm treating my credit facilities with more respect that I have done in the past.
Yeah, I owe money on my overdraft and a credit card. Yeah, I could have done without it. Which is why I am no longer using credit cards and now that I'm on a full time salary repay what I borrowed as a part timer with a view to closing all but one credit card (I'll leave them open at least 12 months even if they're unused) and starting to subscribe the annual limit to an ISA as long as the local authority keep me on full time at the end of my fixed term contract.
I spent a lot, I took ownership, I am repaying, and will save in future. I noticed I was falling into the old ways ever so slightly so gave myself the metaphorical slap on the face I needed to remind me of all I'd learned and it's working.
And I intend it to continue working.Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48

Miche is an ex BR (and older than you) and guess what she's applied for in the last 3 years - not months - years! Go on, have a guess?
Now you'll see my point (hopefully)....2010 - year of the troll
