Just had a look at my Callcredit report.
The only searches on my Call credit file are from HSBC . What I don't understand is they do two searches on one day, one search being an administration review. I have 6 searches on there, and they are all HSBC, from way back when:mad:
My HSBC loan hasn't been updated on there either for two months. So clearly HSBC is not updating the CRAs when I make my payments each month. Yet I am sure if I were to default it would be on there. I noticed on there, and on Equifax, it shows when I go into my overdraft on my current account:mad: Now that, surprisingly enough is kept up to date on the report.
Noone else seems to search Callcredit at all.0 -

I understand BUT does it show on a general credit search like normal bank accounts?0 -

I have a HSBC overdraft and credit card and they update my Experian and Equifax every month. My overdraft has always shown on my credit file because I have a student/graduate account.
I would not worry about CallCredit because Experian and Equifax are the main ones that people look at and I never check CallCredit.
Whats a administration review search ?0 -
The strange thing is my overdraft is updated, but my personal loan isn't. The balance for my loan is two months out of date.
I have no idea what an administration review search is, I was hoping you would know.
It seems that HSBC only leave searches on Callcredit. No evidence of them on Experian or Equifax.0 -

I am not sure but I think that a administration review search may have something to do with your loan.
Does Callcredit have questions and answers section that you can look up adminstration search ?0 -
It has a FAQ page, but nothing with those terms under it. The other thing I can't understand, is why when HSBC are doing a search, they do two on the same day???? Anyway, as you say, no other lender seems to go on there.0

Are they unrecorded searches if they are I would not worry because only you can see them not lenders.0 -
No, they are recorded searches:mad:
The other thing that is puzzling me is when I applied to JD Williams, I had also applied to Next. Both of them have not made any searches on either Experian or Equifax. So, it was straight decline without a credit search.
I guess one way of looking at it, is I haven't wasted those two searches.0 -

Maybe contact CallCredit and ask them to explain the searches.0 -
I will do that.0
