Cool! A voice kept telling me I got a 90 days 10% instead of a 90 days 0% purchases, but was too afraid to ask!
How'd you get 90 days 0%? Really high credit score? Or a past offer?

    "Creation credit card
    * 0% interest on purchases for three months from account opening"

Well, I don't want to know the score, but I hope it's improving :) I just genuinely don't have much history.
    Enjoy the silence...

Ahh you've got the actual Creation Card. That's different to the rest of them (you've gotta be over 25 & 20k income or something like that to get the Creation Card, the rest of them don't have conditions like that) so yea you get different offers :)
  • Anyone Bank with HSBC? If so what are they like? I am needing to open a account with them and wanted to know how hard it is?

I understand but does a offshore account show on ur credit file?

What are you on about ?

Offshore accounts reporting white data to CRA's
the offshore banks give info to hmrc of anyone who lives in uk and they have to give the info by law
I understand BUT does it show on a general credit search like normal bank accounts?

or HMRC CRA searches being visible to you ? :footie:

Experian CitizenView is used by the public sector and these searches are visible to you if you order your credit reference file :silenced:

    http://www.experian.co.uk/consumer-information/citizenview.html

This type of public sector "fraud prevention" search is visible on your CRA file ;)

NID seemed pretty confident I'd be accepted if I run this account well up to December and have no actual adverse, then call and apply, fingers crossed!

I think you'd be fine doing that mate, even if they decline you just appeal and use the fact you're existing customer etc... i'd not worry, just leave a full 3 months.

By the way, you get 2 searches cos one is the bank and one is the finance arm. Sometimes you get a third search (unclassified) for a fraud search - doesn't mean much, but still....

Usually the Creation search is a day after the Sygma search as well.

    So in theory each Sygma Bank application shows 2 entries;

    1. Sygma Bank UK
Main Credit Search - this should show under Credit Searches

    2. Creation Financial Services
This is not a credit search, but a subsequent (or follow up) enquiry that only you can see.

Cheers, early Christmas present if I get it :D

Thanks, thought that was the case. In all mine the searches have been listed for the same day. I thought both appeared as full searches though? Guess that's Equifax and their little game though... they even make betting ones look like full searches too (when the only ones that should be are the spread betting ones)
