Yeah that's what I worked out, too. I reckon they'll round it to either £1,600 or £1,700 :o

    Sygma Credit Limit Increases

have the flybe 2K limit opened in march - never missed a payment
got the silver 1K limit opened in june - never missed a payment

applied for the creation card in july declined - said i did not meet the criteria despite earning over 25K etc..

no nasties on my equifax - 4 searches in last 6 months

would I be eligible for a flybe increase to £2600 or would the creation card decline last month go against me?

How long can i wait to re-apply for the creation 3 or 6 months?

3 if you hold an existing card, theoretically you don't even have to wait that, NID said you could re-apply every month if you want, but you'd probably just keep getting declined as not much changes month to month, 3 is advised (I applied 2 weeks after my first application, as I've seen others here did that, and was declined so now have to wait until December)

Equifax have updated to show the search from them on 27th Aug and 13th. Not the account though... I'm sure other new accounts appear by now!? I guess I've got to wait until my 2nd statement? Anyone know what my statement date is likely to be? Their website says the payment date will be within 51 days of the first purchase (standard!). The first purchase was 26th, added to account on 28th

I'm interested about the decline/limit increase too though... I want to apply for Silver Mastercard in December, the same time I'm due an upgrade for JJB.... which is the best order to do? If I'm declined for new card then I probably won't get an increase either... if I'm accepted then I'll look desperate asking for more credit!

Well I got my Silver card in March, MyWorld card in May, increase on Silver in June, and increase on MyWorld in August.

There were one or two declines for other Sygma cards amidst all of this, too.

I think it's normally a matter of "once you're in, you're in" sort of thing :o

I could probably get another Sygma card now as my EQ searches are down to three in the last six months but I don't want another one TBH.

Haha that's good! Yea a few people have said once you're in, you're in! type of thing.... I'm really hoping that's the case! I don't think I'll try again until December though, as they credit search twice :( Then when I try Halifax again I'd only have those fresh 2 on my file (if I wait until March so the 2 from my declined, late-Aug app are gone)

NID seemed pretty confident I'd be accepted if I run this account well up to December and have no actual adverse, then call and apply, fingers crossed! Although my current balance is only £11.... stupidly used my Capital One card for all my football related stuff the other day! Hardly showing them I'm capable of handling credit if my statement is generated for a whooping 11 quid! :(

Yeah with your flybe if you got that card in march you should be on your 2nd increase next month,as for you applying for the creation card you should of waited until december then applied, but you getting declined for that card will not go against you getting an increase.

The reason i say that is end of june i got accepted for a my world card but turned it down due to the apr, phoned creation up and asked the best time to apply for their card and they said try in december.

    as they credit search twice

They aren't supposed to - they only left one footprint (and a few unrecorded enquiries) in connection with my Silver applicaiton but two footprints for the MyWorld application (and yet more unrecorded enquiries).

I disputed the extra search with Equfax and Sygma ended up removing all of them! Ha!

They're the same thing. Strange the dates are different, mine always appear as being the same day. Basically (as far as I remember) one of them asses you for the card (Sygma?) and the other lend you the money (so assess you for a credit limit). Izools disputed a search, so you could try that and get some removed :p Don't think there's a "easy" way so to speak though... If you mean easiest card, any apart from the Creation card (which asks for 25k income) - they're all scored the same, there was a post on it a while back from someone that works there
