    I applied over the phone for a Natwest student account today. It was accepted with £500 overdraft to start and £350 credit card. :)

    Well done are Natwest less strict on searches than Lloyds TSB ?

    The application still has to go through AVU but I am sure that it will go through as he has no adverse.

    With 30 searchers i would of been surprised if blockbuster would of give him a membership card TBH.

    Surly with 30 searches you would have no score what so ever.

    Or in my case with 1 have no score whatsoever :p

    Well, I have a First Direct 1st account with overdraft, capitalone credit card (£800 limit) and a few others accounts... so obviously it's not too much of a problem. Most are over 6 months old as well.
