Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
I've had a choice catalogue for just over a year and looked tonight and my limit is now £3000. No way would I ever use that much, infact I'm going to reduce some of my limits.

How hard is egg to get? They declined me for a SAVINGS account (!!!!!!!?!?!) last year. I'm assuming it's quite hard to get as it's got a 0% deal?

Great, NatWest in Scotland is being sold to Santander. I'm going to have to move to RBS which isn't being sold in Scotland.

I was declined from them - but are they actually accepting people with the news that they are up for sale?

Ah I won't bother with it then! Their website looked like it still took applications when I went on it yea

Yay Halifax have found my money they lost! Went onto online banking yesterday and it showed -£50! Because I transferred £400 in then moved £50 out, but, after ages on the phone, it turned out that when I put the £400 in the account was in a pending state apparently (and still only said "current account" rather than Reward current account), now it's a full account but they managed to lose the £400 in, the only bit of history they kept was the £50 out (convenient!). So I now might get charged a fiver, but can phone up and get it taken off if I am. I said I don't want it affecting my credit report and apparently it won't, but unauthorised overdraft isn't running the account "within the conditions" as required for a 0!

How do you see your Halifax overdraft limit? Put in a stupidly high number like 9 million? Will that affect the account in anyway? I guess it's logged what you've attempted to do :rotfl:

I actually like NatWest and haven't had a problem. They gave me a loan so would very much like to stay with them incase I need another one. :D

Yes, just put 99999 for the overdraft and it'll show you how much you can apply for.

It doesn't tell me, so I'm guessing £0!?

Please supply or check the missing or invalid details below, then click 'Submit'.

This request exceeds the maximum amount that can be applied for online. Please apply for a lower amount or call us on 08457 20 30 40 or visit any branch.

I must have such a massive credit score with them then.... not! :p

You're applying for too much, take some digits off the number your entering. Try 9999

To apply for an overdraft above your guaranteed limit of £100.00 please contact us on 08457 20 30 40 or visit any branch
    :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

So should I take the £100 (I'm never going to use it with their ridiculous charges and 1.5k at Natpest) as staying above £0 will be seen as even better? Or is it not worth it because my "available credit" ratio will be up then....

How often do they update that? Hopefully it goes up then I can apply for the credit card again :D
