If you make them in trays then chuck them into freezer bags to stockpile, what stops them from all sticking together? or do they just not :rotfl:

I don't know, but as they are sold in bags in the shops I expect it would be the same if you make your own and put them into bags.

If they do stick together I would think a sharp whack would loosen them.

I don't understand! I have read that page and can't find anywhere where it says it could be a bad idea. Apart from one point which said there had been bacteria found in bottles where school kids had repeated refilled them without ever cleaning them.

Apart from that, nothing bad is said, in fact it is the exact opposite, the site debunks the myths about refilling bottles being bad.

If I am wrong, could you please point to parts of that site that say it could be bad?

Does anyone know where the cheapest place (supermarket) to buy ice from is (if indeed there is a difference)? Got 20-30 people for a garden party in a couple of weeks and suspect we are going to need a LOT to chill wine etc.

    Thank you! :o)

(oh and please don't suggest freezing it myself - no freezer room for that amount - will be going straight into big buckets and hoping it doesn't melt too quickly!)
