Does anyone buy ice cubes?

I bought some for a BBQ party last week - It's one of the best things I've ever bought! So much better than the cubes you make yourself. They seem denser and better quality water.
For just a few pence they're well worth it imo.

I buy them for the simple reasons of conveinience & the ice cube trays dont last long before cracking.
(Plus they're in the fridge right next to the Ginger ale opposite the whiskys!lol)0 -
We do...i don't think i could ever keep up with demand for them in our house otherwise0

always, I can't be fannying about with icecube trays etc everyday.
For the sake of a pound week i'd rather the hassle be someone elsesCapital one was £1000.00 now £0.00:j
Barclaycard was £250.00 now £190. 00
Asda credit card was £500.00 now £0.00:j

:rotfl: I bought them once when OH was poorly and needed to suck ice cubes. They reproached me every time I opened the freezer lid. I'm more organised and keep a single tray of them now. It's like frozen Yorkshire puds or shortcrust pastry. Sometimes the mark-up is too high and I feel that the food is laughing at me. If I want a cold drink, I have water from the tap. Some of us are too cheap for our own good0 -
Buy them every week! From Starrystarrynight to Starrystarrynight1 and now I'm back...don't have a clue how!0

I buy them- mostly because the ones I make myself seem to take on the smell/taste of other things in the freezer, or maybe I just have a sensitive nose0

If you make icecubes with boiled water then they come out clear.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0

I make my own I have two freezers but I only keep one for doing two lots of ice trays, I then put them in plastic container for storage, why pay? They around £1 a bag fair enough you get quite a few but not very mse0

I have just started buying ice cubes. I love a pint glass filled with ice cubes and fizzy water - I can't believe I have missed out on them all these years!
It is such a small price to pay for such an indulgence.
Maybe not very MSE, but I love themI'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0
