Excellent buy, been looking at them on Play and Dabs and just had to have this one!
Both those cables are fine, I got mine from Dabs as I ordered the monitor from there so it made sense to do so.0 -
The cable is being sold by a seller on Ebay for a fraction of the price....

Yes it will work, it's 18 pin, the same as the Dabs Value one I bought. The seller seems confused about his postage prices though.
I quote from the seller 'Each DVI cable costs £0.99, and the cheapest postage option within the U.K is £1.95.'
However if you look at the postage cost further down, the cheapest is £2.40. However, it's still very cheap. I'd ask him a question about postage first and try and get it for £1.95, or just buy one and adjust the postage yourself lol0 -
Just ordered one, well pleased.
and Scotland are 5-0 up... good day, good day....

It's be even better for you if Andorra were winning too.
I've just ordered one as well. I've been looking for replacement for my 4 yr old CRT. The screen is scratched on this.
For me, the benefit of goin widescreen isn't so much for movies, it just gives me a little more space. I can keep IE open in a 4:3 window, then have a bit more space down the edge for MSN or quick launch toolbars.
Very pleased at £105 delivered, at that it's a true bargain. I couldn't care less if it's £70 next month.::Quidco.com - £1100 in 11 months. Kerr-ching! ::0 -
I'm looking or a flatscreen TV for the bedroom and was considering a £99.99 Acoustic Solutions 15ins LCD from https://www.whatsgoingcheap.com. It's graded but I just saw the same telly in Homebase for £189.99.
But having seen this, would I be able to buy one of these instead and some sort of receiver and use it simply as a TV or would that be daft?
Thanks for any help.0 -
After reading more about these monitors I can see that they are incredible value for money, hence I removed my comment about square tfts been better and placed an order as I am sure the price will go up quickly! £105 for a 19" tft DVI 5ms widescren monitor deliverred is bargain not to be missed so my adivce to anyone still delibrating over to get one or not it to just order one, you wont regret it.0

You could buy a vga box (costs about £45) and a freeview box (arround £25) which would let you use it as a tv. However you would need to have 2 boxes plugged into the monitor so it might be better to buy an LCD TV which has a tuner built in from the likes of pc world etc..0 -
Is it possible to wall mount this? Considering connecting it up to a mac mini in the bedroom and watching dvd's / surfing the net on it.
Thanks0 -

I am interested in using this as a tv and monitor too, however, is it not possible for some graphic cards to already have the tuners built into them or something? sorry im not firmiliar with all this computer stuff, i dont know if it would be possible with my graphics card without buying an extra vga tuner, heres my graphics card : Asus A9200SE, could someone please check for me?
Thanks:D0
