I think I might have missed the boat with this one. I have still not received my order from Amazon and having just got off the phone to them, I'm not very optimistic.0

GoofyGAT wrote:caesarz, there's no pixelated colours on mine, but have to admit pics don't look as good as on my CRT. I'm thinking Sui_Generis' monitor may have defects. If you're not a professional photographer or similar the display quality is very acceptable. Get the monitor, set it up properly & then decide if you want to return it or not - I'm defintely not returning mine! G
the 17" TFT it replaced, easy comparison.
I wondered whether the pixels were too widely spaced but again that wouldn't account for it as it's roughly the same dot pitch as the monitor it replaced.
I think it's defective as I'm sure if they all looked this way everyone would be sending them back
If others have ordered but aren't receiving them I wonder if this is an end of model/supplier situation?0 -

Hi Norman, when did you place your order and what did they tell you on the phone?
I placed my order on 4th September and my delivery estimate is still showing 13 Sep 2006 - 21 Sep 2006. Do you guys think the order will come?0 -

I placed my order on 2nd Sept. I contacted Amazon this morning, to be informed that there are none in stock and they have no idea if or when any more will be due in.0 -
still waiting for mine too.
Emailed amazon last week and they said would be sent in that date.
My mate got the same monitor from dabs i think for £130 inc post. which is pretty good, but little worried about these problems.
edit: opps posted using my mums account.Never pay more than you have too0 -
Chin up guys, you'll need to be patient a while longer & hope that Amazon receive more stock from their suppliers soon.
I reckon the marketplace sellers purchased their whole stock initially (or most of it anyway), & now flouting them for a hefty profit:mad:.

I respect everyones opinion and some may be having problems but I have had mine now for nearly 2 weeks and I am still smiling. No indications of any of the problems mentioned. Excellent value for money. I may be a lucky one or my demands / expectations are lower but comming from a 19 crt monitor I have noticed no decernable drop in quality and its wide screen.Ta0

What kind of DVI connection does it have? I understand it's DVI-D but is it a single or dual connector? (I don't mean 1 or 2 plugs!)0
