It's strange they specify getting onto the vehicle is a specific offence, but kicking the wing mirrors off etc for some reason is not.

At least there is only the risk of this happening for 3 matches every 4 years.
Approach her; adore her. Behold her; worship her. Caress her; indulge her. Kiss her; pleasure her. Kneel to her; lavish her. Assert to her; let her guide you. Obey her as you know how; Surrender is so wonderful! For Caroline my Goddess.

    Can I have your car?

    Certainly...

Take my wife,my wallet, the deeds to my home,my clothes..everything i own for i should really just stand by and let you take them becuase to defend my right to rightful ownership would be foolish.
Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..
  • i live in an housing estate but knock on wood (taps my head) no one has jumped on the cars one girl did have her windows put through and the bloke who did it got 12months suspended sentence ordered to pay £150 costs 150 hours community service and ordered to pay £600 for the windows £130 for the recovery of the girls vehicle and £200 compensation. if i did manage to catch some numpties doing it they'd have a severe soaking with my hose pipe to sober up, then call the cops.

That's a good idea - doesn't hurt them so they can't claim assault or anything.

To be fair as well if you were my neighbour I'd report you for attempted muder.

If you wanted to fight him I'd hold your coat, and keep his mates off, if you want to kill him with a car because he bent your bonnet you deserve to go down for it.

I'm glad (or I hope) you're not my neighbour. What a disloyal attitude!

Unfortunately, it's people who think like this that result in prosecutions for householders who hurt or kill scum trying to rob them.

"Tampering with the brake or other part of it's mechanism"

I think it could be argued that a wing mirror is "part of it's mechanism". It's an important safety device after all.

Even if not, you could still get them under vandalism and/or criminal damage.

Not that it matters as 99.99% of the time they will be long gone by the time the police can be bothered to turn up.

Sadly it wont come under that act, because the bit where it says "part of its mechanism' refers only to the brake component nothing else.

I agree that it would be a waste of time and is just one of these things that we have to carry the cost for. The police arent interested unless there is cctv because they dont want a crime stat that cannot end up being solved.

I not disloyal to normal people. If you're my neighbour, I'd want you locked up and out of the way.

I'm more woried about a sociopath who thinks it's ok to chase people with their cars, and then run over anyone who upsets them.

A drunk on my car is annoying, but I could sort it without trying to kill him.
