It will get easier after Christmas. I always overspend at Christmas.
We;re going home to the North in a week and I'm going to be rooting through the attic at my folks home to see exactly what I bought last year in the Boots sale as I sent it all home with them as they have storage! Hopefully that will rein me in. No promises though0 -
This weekends Ebay sales are sitting at £55ish. I also have 19 watchers on the horribly expensive face cream which has no bids yet, so I'm hopeful
If I can make £100 before fees I will be a very Happy Fresian.
Off for lunch with a friend now and then Costco. Have a good day all!

I've got some of my Boots stuff wrapped - I was going to send it to his family but I think I might 'accidently' forget then, if he says anything, I'll tell him he should have bought gifts with his money

He knows I'm not happy about it but he says that he gets nothing (NOTHING?! I forked out £55 quid for a game for him not 1 month ago!) for himself...well, if he wants something for himself then he can have it - I mean, he never gets anything *rolls eyes*
He's also getting annoyed that the cc isn't paid off yet...!!!!!!?!! HAND OVER YOUR !!!!ING MONEY AND IT WOULD BE - DUH!!
A wage to himself? One of the reasons I don't have and don't want kids is precisely because I know I won't ever have another wage to myself!! I can understand why you are pee'd off!flying_fresian wrote: »I sometimes think that when one partner (ie you/me) is doing all of the moneysaving work then the other one can start to feel like a small child because we're always saying no to them.
Sucks being the grown-up in a relationship...

So, today's spends:
My friend paid for lunch :j so hurrah for not spending there
I spent a little bit of money at Costco, but not as much as I could have...
£9.57 on loads of mince
£14.69 on two bags of cat litter. That should do them until the end of the month

A wage to himself?
By the time the 'important' bills are paid there's nowt left of his wage - I take care of the day to day stuff (and the monthly stuff, the car stuff, birthday stuff, Christmas stuff - I better stop there before I get annoyed again!!) so because he gets paid twice this month (we're on 4-weekly pay) there will another wage in his account before the bills are due on the 1st Nov - so this month's wage isn't needed for anything as last month's wage covered everything that went out yesterday.
He's managed to spend about £300 already...it only went in his account yesterday :eek:Started PADdin' 13/04/09 paid £7486.66 - CC free 02/11/10

Outstanding loan = £716.50
So, can I clear it by my birthday?
Payments for October/November = £256.66
Outstanding after that = £442.84
Two months rent payments to come which total £600, should be selling some stuff for £200 and then anything left from the British Gas cheque (Assuming I don't spend it all!)
You know, I think I might manage this debt-free by 30 thing after all
