I've spent a good amount of time tonight looking for hotels in London that won't bankrupt me. The place I stayed last time I was there is coming up as £117 per person :eek: Time to look a little more "budget" I think :o

At least we know that the train tickets are booked...tomorrow we're going to book the tickets for Wicked :j I'm getting very excited now :D

Fresian, i just came across this place http://www.tunehotels.com/ which is a hostel i think but they say they're 5* at 1* prices - might be worth a look? Although i have no idea what it's like so no promises!

Had a wee look but they don't have twin rooms (Or at least not for the night we're staying!) I don't mind bunking in with my friend, and it is really cheap, but I am trying to find something a little fancier - it's a treat for us after all!

    Hotel stalking to continue today...

Plans for a five minute shower while praying that the parcel I'm waiting for have been scuppered by the cat. He must have figured out I was about to call him inside from playing in the garden as I have just looked out the window to see him disappearing into the neighbours hedge. Said neighbour is mowing his lawn, so cat will be cowering in the hedge for quite some time yet.

Time to break out the cat treats to tempt the furry terrorist back into the house. It's like having a wean sometimes...
  • I'm hotel stalking aswell today, just a shame it's not a treat for me!! :(:p

How you feeling now Flyin'? Things a bit less sore?! :o

I'm doing ok now, just occasional twinges when I move the wrong way. I'm still getting tired quite easily, but I think that's because I'm trying to do too much :D

Ah fair enough, i must admit i didn't look...

I tend to to look on laterooms and then phone them up and cheekily ask them to give me a better price - most of them say yes.. I tend to stay at Mecure hotels and they give between 40-60% discount a lot of the time!! But i am quite cheeky, not everyone likes to do that.
