I think that's acceptable, given the situation
A friend in need and all that....
I have frittered quite badly today and tomorrow's not looking good either!I'll get there!0 -
Money!
Rent money and Reward payments have arrived, so here's how things stand at the moment...
PAD/Spends = £235
Entertainment = £21.66
Groceries = £91.12
Purse = £23.44
Outstanding loan = £716.50
I'm keeping a good chunk of the rent money aside this month as we're off up north in a week and I need money for diesel and so on. I'm going to make a PAD tomorrow to bring the loan under £700 though, it's too tempting not to!

£5.01 on a new rubber stamp from Ebay
£1 on parking
£1.34 on oven chips
£25.75 on enough catfood for a month and a half
£10.75 in Asda
£6.60 on one cocktail (for me) and an orange juice for my friend
£6.36 on sodding tobacco for Mr Fresian
£41.58 in Hobbycraft on assorted lovely shiny crafting items
Total spend is therefore £98.39 :eek::eek::eek::eek:
So, is this justifiable? no!! HOW MUCH FOR ONE COCKTAIL?!! I can get a pitcher in weatherspoons for cheaper than that!!
Well the money for the new stamp is coming from my spends account - already transferred to my Paypal card. That's o.k I geuss
Cocktail and Asda spending comes under "friend emergency" as she had found out something quite sh*tty about her ex and one of her friends. Bah. I went to collect her with a friend of ours and the £1 parking was needed. As was the drink while she ranted. The Asda spend that isn't groceries was chocs to cheer her up. A box of Milk Tray doesn't cost that much - are you telling the truth?!:rotfl:
Hobbycraft spends will be paid for when the rebate cheque comes from British Gas. I would quite someone to give me a cheque for £200 - not going tohappen though!!
I will do better tomorrow. Honest.
OH got paid yesterday and it's the month of the year that he gets paid twice...I was looking forward to *ahem* my sharebut he's being really tight!!
The car needs new wiper blades and he went to price some yesterday and told me they were too expensive - so, it's o.k for me to have to fork out for them with my nothing in my bank account but it's too much for you to pay out with your 100's?!
Also, the cars service, tax, mot and and that £200 repair bill are all coming up aswell as DD's birthday...but no, it's o.k darling, you go spend your !!!!ing money on books and cd's and leave me to scrimp :mad: :mad: :mad:

The cocktail was £4.95...a lot I know but DANG it was good!
The chocs for my friend were £3.79 for about 10 of them, but she's vegan and it's a total pain in the erris to find anything that she can eat in a normal supermarket.
Why is Mr Angelic being such a kn0b about paying for things?0 -

He said he's been waiting a year to have a wage to himself...I just said (in my nicest pretending to o.k with it voice) o.k then - hope you enjoy spending it.
He knows I'm not happy about it but he says that he gets nothing (NOTHING?! I forked out £55 quid for a game for him not 1 month ago!) for himself...well, if he wants something for himself then he can have it - I mean, he never gets anything *rolls eyes*
He's also getting annoyed that the cc isn't paid off yet...!!!!!!?!! HAND OVER YOUR !!!!ING MONEY AND IT WOULD BE - DUH!! :cool:Started PADdin' 13/04/09 paid £7486.66 - CC free 02/11/10

I sometimes think that when one partner (ie you/me) is doing all of the moneysaving work then the other one can start to feel like a small child because we're always saying no to them.
Sucks being the grown-up in a relationship...

Doesn't it just?!
The only things I really say no to are things like take-aways - he gets shoes from clarks for work and trainers from Schuh - you know yourself that Schuh isn't exactly cheap! My trainers (my only pair!) have got holes in the soles I've wore them for so long - if he's not careful, I'll take the credit card to town and go on a mad spending spree :rotfl::cool:Started PADdin' 13/04/09 paid £7486.66 - CC free 02/11/10

The trouble is that he has size 13 feet so is really expensive to buy for. We need to try and get through Christmas first and then I will see if I can get them in the sales.
