Fresian.. i need your expert advice!! Is there anywhere else i can look for snowflakes for my card making than hobbycraft - i have picked my colours and want to have snowflakes on the front but allm the stamps in there were really expensive, as were stick on flakes and they didn't have any stencils
There's no way i could draw one either.. any ideas would be great
If you don't have acrylic stamps at the moment let me know and I'll send you a wee acrylic block too.
I can post it on Sunday with my Ebay buys.
Primula - good to see you and thanks for the good wishes0 -
Plans for today
One of them was to bring the loan under £800 but neither my rent money nor my Reward payments have arrived. Bah.
So....
1. spend less than £50 in Hobbycraft (Thank you British Gas, for making this possible)
2. Costco - cat litter and nothing else unless horribly cheap
3. Pick up catfood

I'm not a card maker (flirted with the idea a while back though, but got bored) but could you not find an image of a snowflake online, print it out and stick onto card then cut out with a scalpel to make your own stencils?
Cheap and cheerful and if you do it properly it'll look just as good!

Ok, here goes nothing...
£5.01 on a new rubber stamp from Ebay
£1 on parking
£1.34 on oven chips
£25.75 on enough catfood for a month and a half
£10.75 in Asda
£6.60 on one cocktail (for me) and an orange juice for my friend
£6.36 on sodding tobacco for Mr Fresian
£41.58 in Hobbycraft on assorted lovely shiny crafting items
Total spend is therefore £98.39 :eek::eek::eek:
So, is this justifiable?
Well the money for the new stamp is coming from my spends account - already transferred to my Paypal card.
Cocktail and Asda spending comes under "friend emergency" as she had found out something quite sh*tty about her ex and one of her friends. Bah. I went to collect her with a friend of ours and the £1 parking was needed. As was the drink while she ranted. The Asda spend that isn't groceries was chocs to cheer her up.
Hobbycraft spends will be paid for when the rebate cheque comes from British Gas.
I will do better tomorrow. Honest.0
