  • Spends for today...

    £3.00 on bread (no point in freezing it, it'll be gone tomorrow at the rate DD gets through it for her 'little peicies' :D)

    £1.46 on some diluting juice

    £1.00 on milk (fresh 'n low is only £0.50 in Tesco for 4pints :money:)

    £0.72 for some facial scrub...could only get Tesco cheap stuff, hope it's o.k!!

    £0.72 for the matching moisturiser :D

    And that's it...for now...

    Because I'll soon be adding to my xmas stuff :D I need to get more organised than I am...I've only got 6 presents so far...I feel naked as they aren't even wrapped yet! :eek:
    I use that one Mary, it doesn't do much scrubbing but otherwise its good. I like a good scrub so I bought an exfoliating sponge to use with it, but you can also add a bit of sugar just before you use it :)
    You'll have to let me know what the moisturiser is like - I also use the EMUR and the toner, and I like them.... for that price especially!!

    I HATE XMAS SHOPPERS - I always get my shopping done early to avoid them!!

    I started back in Jan...nearly killed myself in the snow to get a few bargains :D
    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    I'm the same - I started mine in the sales, and my mum has a load of stuff in her loft which I bought then. She'll bring it down when she visits before Christmas :D

    Spends yesterday

    Previously mentioned bacon goodness
    Lunch - £2.16
    Cat treats & stock cubes - £1.09

    Money

    PAD/Spends = £25.75
    Entertainment = £3.82
    Groceries = £39.36
    Purse = £15.44
    Outstanding loan = £1384.62

    In other debt-busting news, I got the annual statement through for my (hated) student loan. Last tax year I paid off £543.41 without even thinking about it as it comes off my salary. Woo indeed! I generally ignore it to be honest, and when I clear my "real debt" will just let this potter away until it's paid off, but it's nice to think that I'm always debt-busting :rotfl:

    9 days till payday.....

    Now, I'm off to play LEGO Harry Potter in my jammies and won't stop until someone makes me :D

    I think I'll avoid adding the sugar...I got a sugar scrub from Lush and it left scratches all over me!! :eek:
    The moisturiser was quite 'thin' and didn't seem to soak in very well, I usually use something quite thick and lotiony, like Sanctuary or Dove so it was a bit different to what I'm used to...but I'll keep using it as it seemed to work better on my hands than on my face :D

    I text my mother last night and I told her I was storing stuff in her house as we've no storage here, if I'm really lucky...she'll wrap them for me too! :rotfl:

    This should be interesting....

    I went to Aldi, Tesco and Morrisons today to pick up assorted bits and pieces, I'm curious to see if I remained within my budget...!!

    Morrisons

    £8.52 spent

    This included 8 tins of Heinz beans (£3) and 3 large tins of sweetcorn (£1) as well as some other bits that were on my list. Not on my list was the garlic tiger bread, but it was reduced to 80p so I figured it was ok :D

    Aldi

    £14.67 spent

    Not bad when you consider that this includes £3.59 for a concealer - which I think is better than my Benefit one - and £1.99 for moisturiser.

    I managed to get loads from my list, but also some Chinese sauces for 49p each. I love that their kidney beans are 19p each, they're so much more in other supermarkets!

    I got peppers for 69p too :j

    Tesco

    £15.52 spent

    This included cat litter (£8.37, bah.) and a razor, which I didn't need but it was £2.65 instead of £6 so I bought it as it was a bargain!

    Total spend.....£38.71 :j :A :j

    Money

    PAD/Spends = £32.52
    Entertainment = £3.82
    Groceries = Zero! I suspect I will be over-budget as it's 8 days till payday and we will need milk/bread/fruit when I get back from Englandshire next week.
    Purse = £4.80
    Outstanding loan = £1382.87

    The only other spend I had yesterday was £2.79 on lunch with my friend in Morrisons. We usually have something to eat if we go on a supermarket trek :D

    In other news, the issue about the flatmates boyfriend never leaving shall be solved as they are splitting up :( Very sad for them but I did have to bite my tongue when she told us and said "It means that he will be moving out."

    "Moving out?", thought I, "He never bl00dy moved in as far as I knew."

    So, the atmosphere in the flat is very much one of Doom and Gloom at the moment (understandably) which is why I spent my Saturday visiting three supermarkets. Current plan for today is to drag Mr Fresian out of the house to either visit friends or go to the movies. I don't want to be sitting in the house getting in their way.

    In other MSE news, I called Virgin Media in response to a flyer they sent me saying "Look what you could get for £30 per month Ms Occupier". As I was getting less than that for £35 per month I gave them a wee call. We now have better telly channels and I have saved £5. Wahoo indeed :D

    Although I'm sorry to hear the news so I don't want to sound like a cow when I say this but why should you have to leave your house to get out of their way?

    It's your home...not theirs!!
