:beer: Yay for Scraps!
Dh and I have been talking and we plan to pass our beloved on to the sister in law and replace with a 7 seater tank :eek:
We dont often need 7 seats what with the kids being in school but this half term has been really awful, the weather isnt great so theyre not out with mates and we cant even book a week away as the cars too small so doing some research on MPV's as we speak.
Hopefully have it sorted before Oct when her MOT is due because I very much doubt she'll pass, 13 is old for a car isnt it :rotfl:

Waiting for a bus to the bank,having decided that if my loan balance is smaller when I log into online banking I'll be happier. I will still be leaving money in savings though for emergencies.0

Jings Angelic, you can tell you went to Town
Hope you had a fun day!
Yesterday was a NSD for me :A thanks to remembering to make my own lunch in the morning more than anything. I also went to the bank and paid £1100 into my loan, meaning that when I log into online banking it now shows as £1991.20 owing, which is nicer to look at than over £3000. I'm earning sod all interest on my savings account anyway so figured it was worth it for the psychological boost!
I did ask for a repayment figure yesterday, and was annoyed to note that there is an interest charge of £75ish when I repay it early. The lady at the bank was keen to note that it wasn't a penalty though. My *rse.... :mad: I'll just keep plodding on until it's gone though.
Money
PAD/Spends = £42
Entertainment = £11.41
Groceries = £43
Purse = same as yesterday
Outstanding loan = £1386.85 + sodding interest penalty...
There are 125 days until I turn 30, meaning that I have to repay an average of £11.09 per day to hit my debt-free target. I'll have to think about how to do this as I'm running out of things to EBay....!!

Can you not leave £1 left to pay on the loan until the last payment if officially due, to get round the £75 early repayment "charge". I'm sure :money: would have something to say about the "title" of the charge :mad:0

Some calculations on the back of my train ticket reveal that if I take my normal monthly payments into account I only have to find £7 per day to meet my target. That's only £210 per calendar month, which is less than I'm getting in rent anyway. It's totally doable Internets!
