Off to do a similar list for myself - MF lists I like the idea! :rotfl:
re: the excercise have not been great other than hunting out my dvds! Tomorrow thats the plan to sort out where Im at with it!0 -
A quick post from me. Had a good weekend with friend over for lunch today, we all went for walk in the woods together after which was lovely
.
Not done an exercise video as such but the walk was over an hour, plus I speed walked to friends house and back with DD on a bike urging me to go quicker - that was also just over an hour ! So have definitely earnt reduced price Mr T finest cheesecakeand I wonder why my weight fluctuates!
Have found that getting up early on the weekend - around 7 - means that I feel much more positive about the day and how much I can do. Due to medication and tiredness I've not been getting up until around 10am which by the time I've had breakfast and showered makes me feel like half the day is done!
Have started make £10 a day challenge, fingers are crossed it will motivate me to make an extra £300 for the OPs this month. I think we will need it as we have a lot of extra costs. We have £300 to pay for a weekend away with friends (don't ask ), and am going to a wedding in Ireland in September which I need to book ferry for. Any hints on cheap ferry tickets/discount codes much appreciated as it is also looking at over £300. I have also paid for my new glasses, and OH has a new pair too, which total about £360 for both of our pairs !
Am entering competitions and trying to complete surveys like a maniac (have I ever said how much I HATE surveys???).
I have a busy week coming up as museum industry event tomorrow I helped organise, public tour on Wednesday, and then away Thurs-Sat with museum conference. And OH's mum is coming to stay the weekend !
Pass me a glass or two of wine, I think I need it!Mortgage [STRIKE]16/03/2011: £190K 01/01/2017: £107,729.65 [/STRIKE] 01/07/2017: £95,979.89

*passes the wine bottle*...
Phew what a manic few days for you!!
Well done on the exercise! - I have got as far as getting the dvds out again, finding my trainers and doing lots of cleaning and loads of washing (I know that doesnt really count as exercise but at least i was moving lots!)
I hear ya on getting up early and feeling productive on the weekends- I am normally up by 8.30ish but sometimes I just need to sleep by the time I get to the weekend!! Still , holidays to look forward to soonish so will catch up on much needed sleep then too!
NO idea re cheap ferry tickets Im afraid- assuming ferry is the cheapest way for you to go rather than by plane?...
I see from your exercises vs cheesecake dilema that you have the same prob as me!0 -
HI MW, you asked about hollyhocks on my thread, answer posted here too "sow hollyhock seeds now and then plant the little plants in September/October they are perennials and will flower next summer".
I think that in the summer getting up and getting going early at the week-end really pays huge dividends, you can get so much more done. I love being back at home with the washing ready to hang out, having been to the market, had a cup of coffee and it is still only 9.30. I then productively spend a lot of time pottering in the garden in a way some might call "wasting time". Looks like an annoyingly expensive time with things that you can't avoid, good luck on the £10 a day.0 -
Quick post as am using my lunchbreak to write this...

Just received my monthly statement, and balance as at 1 July is £184,902 :j:j - very pleased to scrape into the £184xxxs!
Sold a high value box set today on Ama$on, will be £33 after fees, so just need to find and pack it.
I have a conference in Manchester/Leeds tomorrow which I am very much looking forward to. I went last year and it was great, really good for networking. Although saying that I have already given away my business cards due to a good tour of the museum store today! Have to leave the house at 5am however in order to get the least expensive train ! I am rubbish at mornings... and am so tired I fell asleep on bus on way home and had to walk back for 15 mins to daughter's school! So need to get on with the packing - have friend on way over for a chinwag and a DD who needs hugs and an ice-lolly.

Look at TCB and quidco - I couldn't get cashback on Irish ferries when I last booked (ages ago). I found them cheaper than P&O or whoever the other lot are.Debt at highest: £8k. Debt Free 31/12/2009. Original MFD May 2036, MF Dec 2018.0
