Sorry you are feeling the effects of last night - that amount would probably knock me right out!!
sounds like a busy day ahead decluttering and cleaning ....at least it is sunny for it !
Jumble sale bargains sound great! and good news on the shoes too !0 -
Friend who moved in has asked for bank details, so assume money will be with me in a few days once transfer goes ok. Have therefore OPed £400 today :j!
Been feeling rubbish all day, so not much done from the list. Did one washload, took DD to park, we all then went to a park we haven't been too before (Gunpowder Mill in Lea Valley) which we enjoyed. Had friend over for lunch, tidied front garden and washed car (badly). Have finished article, just need to read through tomorrow and check a fact. But nothing ebay/amazon wise, that will have to wait till another day!Mortgage [STRIKE]16/03/2011: £190K 01/01/2017: £107,729.65 [/STRIKE] 01/07/2017: £95,979.89

£10.94 OP made due to tcb clearing, and also working out exactly how much needed to be in account for the May mortgage payment!
After 2 good weeks had a bad migraine today, hit me just as was about to meet friend. Had planned to take her out for dinner as a belated bday present. Instead another evening in bed.
On the plus side, after a training day in time management yesterday I was very focused at work. Finished article FINALLY and managed to get through all my urgent to dos.Mortgage [STRIKE]16/03/2011: £190K 01/01/2017: £107,729.65 [/STRIKE] 01/07/2017: £95,979.89

Sorry to hear about the migraine mw - I know its easy to say focus on the good 2 weeks and time gaps between them, but not easy when you are feeling rubbish
how often are you able to check back in with dr/consultant if you need? sounds like it may be a case of tweaking around with meds a bit till you find something that works for you at least most of the time!
sounds like the training at work was positive!
and well done on the OP (*remembers to check tcb account*)0 -
I can email the consultant if I need to - did that the other week and got an appointment for the week later! Am awaiting a date for my MRI scan, not much he can say at the minute to be honest, until results of that are back and I've tried the meds for a bit longer. Am up to 3 tablets a day now, only 5 more to go!
OPs will slow down now as we are focusing on saving for a car (I was going to say OH's car, but it will be ours, I just can't drive it :rotfl:). OH wants us to put any spare money into the car fund. I'm sure I'll sneak the odd quid here and there in, but doubt it'll be much more than that. However, with our standard £200 OP and the friend's rent OP of £400, that is still a good amount.
A surprisingly good financial week - didn't realise that DD's school didn't break up until Tuesday! So only had one day of childcare to pay for yesterday. She is with her dad now until Monday, I have next week off :j so not only will she have quality time with both parents but also only £30 spent on childcare this Easter - yay!!
Have some things to do by the weekend:
* [STRIKE]buy mum book from Amazon wishlist[/STRIKE]
* [STRIKE]order Amazon voucher for sis[/STRIKE]
* order Amazon voucher for bro
* purchase tickets to wales for may break
* pay school one heck of a lot of money
* get OH to call voucher providers to see if can up amount put in
* [STRIKE]book and pay for DD's swimming lessons[/STRIKE]
* report joint bankcard missing
* [STRIKE]transfer money spent on personal account for presents from joint account[/STRIKE]
Am planning to go with OH to pilates tonight, that should be enjoyable and my first bit of exercise in weeks. Need to get back in the habit.

Enjoyed pilates last night, £7 and was more focused on stretching than aerobics which I liked.
FINALLY did our census returns as well, so at least we won't get fined!
And have 2 free tickets for a cabaret in a local(ish) theatre tonight :j!
Time to go to work now...Mortgage [STRIKE]16/03/2011: £190K 01/01/2017: £107,729.65 [/STRIKE] 01/07/2017: £95,979.89

Cabaret last night was BRILLIANT! OH and I really enjoyed it, was like a proper date night out. So we managed our April date night, and something cultural for the month too! Spent £10 on drinks and something to eat.
Had some news from a friend which has sent me into a bit of a spin. Emotionally I feel a bit all over the place, tried to talk to OH about it yesterday but he wasn't really listening, was focused more on the friend bit of the story than the fact that I was upset by it. We were in late and couldn't get to sleep for some time after, all those dark thoughts you can push away in the day swarm away once in bed.
We are away now, working tomorrow at a heritage vehicle rally, so we are using the chance to stop with some friends who live not too far away. Hoping for long walk that ends in pub later, and an early night. We will get our petrol covered with expenses, so a free trip away from us.
After that I have next week off :j!Mortgage [STRIKE]16/03/2011: £190K 01/01/2017: £107,729.65 [/STRIKE] 01/07/2017: £95,979.89

Hope you're ok MW.
Just looked at a preview of that book you recommended on my thread and it describes exactly how I'm feeling. THANK YOU so much - you're an absolute star! Thought I'd write a thank you on here as well as my thread just in case you missed it on mine. xReduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Glad to hear the book will be of use twinklie, hope you're ok too. Keep posting, and feel free to pm me if you need to. Lovely to come back to such a positive post on my diary
.
My exercise has been minimal recently too tyo, with all the migraines I have just been too wiped out. Hoping to pick that up a bit this week!
Am on annual leave :j! Rally was great, lots of old vehicles, made some useful contacts, and the sun shone all day. Spent a bomb this weekend taking friends out for dinner and on cooked breakfast the next day
. However it was one of the friend's bday, and they are in a bit of a financial sticky place at the minute. The food was lovely, and it was great to spend time with them
.
About to go pick up DD for diving lessons :eek:! I will be just watching today, bit of a sore tummy. Meant to be going out for dinner tonight, I have cancelled last 2 times so hope someone else cancels this time as really don't fancy it. Then plan to come home and chill out with DD.
Still need to:
* order Amazon voucher for bro
* [STRIKE]purchase tickets to wales for may break[/STRIKE] £11.50 :j, megabus :eek:
* pay school one heck of a lot of money
* [STRIKE]get OH to call voucher providers to see if can up amount put in[/STRIKE]
