    Well, a pretty productive day considering how much wine I had yesterday!

    * cashed in £7 from topca$hback
    * redeemed £5 from lightspeed
    * did other surveys
    * did weekly shop £46.87 :D. We had a massive joint of pork I'd bought on managers special for Sainsbury's in the freezer (1.8 kg for £4.80), so that is defrosting now ready for dinner tomorrow.
    * took half a dozen books to charity (after checking their resale value on amazon :money:)
    * had old pair of sandals cobbled so can get another summer out of them, and partners shoes (£19.90 :eek: have to find somewhere cheaper!)
    * bought dress from charity shop - that I already own :rotfl:. That was intentional though, I LOVE LOVE LOVE this frock, and the other one is wearing away at the seams. So was delighted to find an identical one in local charity shop for £4.99 :D.Everytime I wear it I get complimented, so a good buy I think (either that or I am just mad!)
    * took DD to park for ball and frisby
    * did 1/2 hour of pilates ball work
    * am now at neighbours babysitting, having read the first bedtime story for well over a year now!
    * bought some stocking fillers from charity shop, as new baby craft items with labels still on, bracelets for DD's birthday party bag. Total cost: £3.40

    To do:
    * email sainsburys about how the till didn't pick up the 2 of £3 offer, meaning a box of blackberries and pack of grapes cost £5.50 :eek:

    Off to update the crazies on the clothes challenge! And get comping!

    Am up for a challenge!! listed 17 things on amazon today (I think 17 anyway!) who knows whether I will get anything for them, but its worth a try!!

    museumworker- well done on your constructive day- especially after wine!!

    had a fairly productive day , listed things on amazon (as above) , decided the rest can go to charity shop as it probably wouldnt make much more than the stall fee at a car boot (and if truth be told am feeling lazy) and had a good chat with an old friend, and instead of paying out for coffee , we stayed in!

    i do find my brain is working overload on all this finance stuff...maybe time for a break of a few days before I end up totally obsessed!....

    take care all
    museum worker hope the family are now feeling better

    17!!!! Ooh, 'eck! Am I allowed to include the listings I've already got in the total? What do you mean that's cheating! :rotfl:. Will update in a bit. My husband works in a bookshop so this house is completely heaving with books, he might not notice if some of his signed first editions get flogged for a tenner :eek::rotfl:
    Updating soon...
  • courgette....selling DHs books???...then again if he wont notice...!:rotfl:

    I have no idea if any of the books will sell, just thought it was worth a try before sending them off to charity !

    ok so my idea of a "break" clearly isnt working...playing around with figures again this morning! sad ....

    museumworker , hope your doing ok!

    off to update my own thread since my playing around with numbers this morning!

    Ok, I admit defeat (or some form of reverence) to Deleted_User, I have been listing on ebay, but only managed 9 items. They were quite complicated though :o. Being 30, clearly it is hard to keep up with the whippersnappers on this forum :D.

    Seriously though, I am very pleased to have done this, and without being too cheesy, everyone is a winner in this game :rotfl::D:p

    Before I crown tya winner, I do need to check something: Courgette - how many of the OH's books have you managed to list :rotfl:?

    Today's update:
    * went for the fifth run of my life today, 1/2 hour round the park. :T. Am now on week 2 of the couch to 5k programme, so that is progress (has only taken me 6 weeks to get that far :rotfl:).
    * cleared the office of almost all of the tut - only a couple of boxes of things left to sell :j. It is so much better in here now, I am not a naturally tidy person but clutter does really drag me down.
    * took DD to the local park on her bike as promised.
    * went afterwards to local museum (busman's holiday? :rotfl:) where had FREE calligraphy drop-in session. DD loved it and displayed a natural talent for arabic calligraphy, the tutor was very impressed and said her coming had made the whole session worthwhile. V proud mum, sometimes she can be an :A.
    * had friend over for gossip and sneaky g&t in the garden :beer: (with Lidl's gin, absolutely fine for mixing)
    * had roast with the massive bit of pork from the freezer, was gorgeous. Had with white bean mash and some wilted spinach in the fridge left over from last week. Definitely enough pork for a large stirfry later in the week.
    * listed 9 things on ebay, will have fingers crossed for the rest of the week as started at 99p and really hope to do well on some of them.

    Off to watch something in bed with OH, early start on Mondays for me.

    Ah, thanks CathT, it is nice to know I'm not always talking to myself! Are you an MFW too, and if so, do you have a diary I can [STRIKE]lurk on[/STRIKE] follow?

    * need to do 'ladies test' :( one night this week attempted and failed on weds, will try again next week
    [STRIKE]* giving talk on new subject at work on Weds, so need to prep for that[/STRIKE]done, think it went well considering how little I know about the subject!
    * away to work conference thurs-sat :D. Work have paid fees and transport, am really looking forward to it. need to pack and also not spend too much on food and drink up there ;).
    * go for run one conference day and do 10 mins of ab work each day am up there.
    [STRIKE]* book haircut using voucher I already paid for! Expires 20 July, so need to fit it in somehow.[/STRIKE]DONE

    * Contact CSA to swap accounts money comes into.
    [STRIKE]* email Sainsburys about 2 for £3 offer[/STRIKE]DONE

    Monday's achievements:
    * went for a sch-wim - pool was rammed though, and 6 people in the swimming lane so only did about 16 lengths
    * booked haircut for a week wednesday, when have much needed day off! it was one of those wahanda deals.
    * emailed Sainsbury's about 3 for 2 offer
    * also had to email Oyster, as checking my top up they hadn't clocked an exit I made, so I got charged a maximum fare
    * put june's expenses in £40.90 (not any more than I spent, but I HATE doing expenses and am regularly not claiming them)
    * claimed another £3 from l!ghtspeed, and only about another survey or so away from claiming in !psos :j
    * entered about 8 comps
    * dinner was a lentil and bacon soup, using a load of arache from the garden

    Not so MFW:
    * having read hypno's diary, and being super impressed with her exercise regime, was compelled to buy the Shred exercise dvd. £5.99 spent, did do it through play and topca$hback, but even still a bit :o. Last year I was buying one a month, this is my first since last September, but even still it was a bit of an impulse purchase.
