I've just looked at this deal, they only have 5 choices of main? Is that right?

Shame its all high cal food in sauces - with the M&S ones you get plain chicken & stuff like that too.

So if you did get 12 mains (if the glitch is still going) its not a lot of choice.

I don't know if this is dependent on the store your order comes from as in total I have a variety of seven main dishes and I think there were another one or two which I didn't fancy.

I think you are right though - it is all high cal food - the only "plain" food I've manged to get for my oldest fussy eating son is the pizza but again high cal.

Just need to hope it all gets delivered with no substitutes

I don't even remember joining the wine club !
Still virtually alcohol free since 4/1/15. (10 Xmas/ New Year/Birthday drinks)

No there isn't a lot of choice and as you say very high calorific content. I am glad commom sense prevailed with me as I do like a bargain but I am trying not to eat too much ready prepared processed food.

My order is due in the next half hour so will let you kow how it goes. I marked in the boxes for substitutions to be from the meal deal range, i said about 3 items i would like each thing substituted with. Finges crossed.

My nearest Tesco is massive, funny how you can get 7 options & me only 5 isn't it.

Does the 'mains' substitute work with any of the main dishes?

We have a rubbish selection at ours - Chicken Kiev, Fish Pie, Pizza, Red Pepper Lasange and Steak Au Poivre.

    Any recommendations?

  • Just got mine, and bought a couple of boxes of Stella at the same time (2 for £16 offer).

    Savings were £99! I love Mr T.

Even the young SA looks shocked and confused at the same time... and then said "You saved £80 on the meal deals, that is Amaaazing..."

I just smiled and said "I know". :)

    And it is. Thanks OP.
