I disagree about removing the guitar, I like to see things like that as it suggests to me that the space can be used in different ways rather than just as a dining room, or a lounge etc.
Plus I have very musical children so am biased! We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
For all my sarkiness (sp?? i guess not!!) I do appreciate your comments and will be asking for a floor plan - tbh I think they should be the norm and they really do differ one property from another if you can't visualise room sizes0

We have the biggest bedrooms by far in the area plus a full suite and separate shower in the en suite0 -
Why are the photos so low down?
You need to do some more dressing, play up the garden with patio furniture too...............

I do. A 30ft by 11ft lounge is not appealling. It's too much like a corridor. Our living room is 26ft by 13 ft and feels out of proportion to the extent that we have 'divided' it by placing a sofa across the room to give a main living area and a 'secondary' area.0 -
I dunno..maybe i expect to much but for me,it doesnt look like a house worth £309k.
The initial photo,,i thought the house looked quite stark with its bright white colour.
The lounge photo is dark and grim.
Estate agents take rubbish photos.
I once took my own photos and they point blank refused to use them even though theres was carp and mine were brilliant. Thats the arrogance of them you see.Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0 -
Point taken for lounge - beams, dark, narrow corridor - taken on board and will get higher or lower pics that hide the beams and show the light and show it is a larger than average lounge0
