from experience they will probably honour some of these, but not all of them. the last time it happened, i placed two orders, one got through but i got an email saying that they didn't have the stock available to build the second order.
has anyone got their Purchase Order / Dell Order email yet? the internet receipt comes out v quick but i think you need the P/O to be more or less assured of the order...0 -

Told you it was a pricing error - dell charge loads for upgrading but don't discount as much on downgrading!Next year we'll be millionaires!0 -
Pricing error...or Marketing Ploy? The last time they made a *pricing error* on a product I went to buy I was told I could purchase the system at the correct price which was £104 more.Welcome, rogerramjet.

i do think there is an element of that, they get some publicity and some quick sales, then they *correct* the problem0 -
Had a phone call this morning asking to confirm how many I wanted (ordered 2, one for me, one for parents).
I said 2 and they said "Thank you, we can now process your order"
Not getting my hopes up but good deal0 -

Not yet,
But I wasn't one of the first. I saw it early, ummed and erred (looking up prices of my old laptop on ebay!).
I was gonna leave it till today to order it (didn't think they'd can it so quickly), but something told me to order it there and then.
So I did.
No second confirmation though, but to be honest its not MILES out from what they sometimes charge for these things - I picked my original up four-five months ago, same spec except only 40gb hd and celeron 1.5ghz for £330, which was 30 quid more than this deal. Which in the fast paced world of IT is believable that it was correctly priced.DONE: Great North Run 09! Raised £452 for the National Autistic Society
