I think this has gone now - no option to reduce memory to 512MB anymore - it was there a little while ago.

It was an error and they have now fixed it, hope some of you managed to get orders in, just have to wait now to see if Dell honour them

Just had that problem myself. Should have been quicker off the mark but was registering with Quidco to get my 4.5% back and it went!

they've changed the 512mb memory downgrade to:

1024MB 533MHz Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM (2x512) [Included in Price]

1024MB 533MHz Single Channel DDR2 SDRAM (1x1024) [add £23.50 or £1/month1]
