Pay rise and three extra shifts are good. :) So was a weekend spending more freely and enjoying yourself. After all, part of the point of becoming debt free is so you have spare money to use for that instead of interest. :)

Do you have a full prescription from Specsavers? If so, maybe time for some web shopping from one of the discount sites. Not so much a treat as necessary spending if you have the money - and you do, in spite of the debts.

You are right, I think I've just got out of the habit of spending. Oh well, if all goes well I only have 16 months left, then I can get back to spending my hard earned money!

I do have the prescription, and I have heard good things about them sites. I might look into it. I don't think my prescription has changed too drastically, so my old glasses should do for the while.

*At least £200 saved onto credit card. I've paid a lot on, but overspent at bro's (and of course the dreaded interest came out). I should be able to end the month with about £115 paid back. So not too bad.

I forgot about the £75 I spent on behalf of my step-dad. So when he pays me back it should be £190 paid back...better than I thought!!:D

61 days to go!!:D I'm getting all excited now! Eager to get my tree up! Didn't put it up last year as I had no visiters, but I love tinsel so going to this year. I don't think I can wait until 1st December.

Ooh, if I keep holding out for the bed, I might get a good deal in the January sales.:money:

I hate this time of the month, the last few days. I'm all eager to change my debt totals in my sig and on my spreadsheet (the majority of my bills come out on the 1st). Also November has 5 Fridays, so I get 5 wage packets! :D
    Roll on November!

Thank goodness we are back!! yupi3ti.gif I've not coped well without my daily MSE fix.

I got thru Friday and Saturday without spending anything, then fell off the wagon...spent £7.88 on Sunday in Asda on new pj bottoms for me, pringles for my weekly Poker game, and a birthday card.
Then yesterday I ordered takeaway pizza (£20.49n1qshok.gif) and pigged out, breaking my diet too.
And my house has suffered from the lack of Flylady-ing.

Soooo glad MSE is back up and o050.gif to the nasty hijackers.

Here we are in November already! Doesn't time fly!!

Generally good news at the moment, things are flowing my way for a change.

My shares were paid today, with my 56 hours my wage packet was very large when I picked it up this morning. My shares came to about £335 after the tax and NI were taken off, so that will go straight to my credit card.

Also, I am now doing the rotas and wages at work, so promotion may soon be on the cards. If not, at least I'm making myself indespensable!!

Of the two people who owe me money...
Still haven't heard from the one who owes me £168, I will keep nagging.
Meanwhile, her daughter, who owes me £386.12, pays me £45 back a month. She has said she will pay me £200 in a couple of weeks, then £45 a month again starting from January.
I did have a bit of a problem with her before, but lately shes been paying me on time so I'm not too worried about her.

    So...new month, new targets.
    This month I want to:

    *Lose at least 3 lbs.
*Save at least £700 onto Credit card. (£335 of this will be my shares money)
*Limit my grocery shop to £50. (Meal plan done, should be do-able)

I hope you are not feeling down any more? Your post of 21st October said you were down.....has your big pay packet and refocussing on targets helped hon?

Shame about the glasses  - I hope you can get cheaper specs online. If you go through QuidCo of course, more money back to you!
