Back to work on wednesday, I'm on the night shift so I've still got the morning and afternoon to chill.
Budgets are going good, this holiday won't leave me in the minus, I will just have to put less on the credit card this month, I've already paid £175 this month. I'm concentrating on the credit card right now, as the interest is the highest, I hope to pay about £1000 by Christmas, and then the rest by February. Then start on the last two loans.

Phew, I was a bit worried about putting weight back on during my long weekend, especially as we had a chinese take-out, lots of alcohol and a heavenly meal out at an italian restuarant.
Weighed myself this morning and I am pleased, I've only gained 0.8 lbs!!:D I thought I'd at least put on 2lbs.
I've also decided that now I'm close to my target I'm going to move the goal down to 210 lb (15st) to keep me on my toes.

Same weight eh? Maybe some sort of challenge is in order?:p
I'm trying for one stone at a time too, I don't want my goal to seem unreachable, else I'll end up giving up. Not too sure where I want to be in the end, I think I'll be happy around 14st, but then I'll see when I get there!!
I'm trying to do it off my own back at the moment, cos I'm trying to get my debts out the way and I would hate to pay any subscriptions or fees (hence why I haven't joined the gym!)
So far so good!

I've been feeling down the last few days and I'm not sure why. I thought I'd review my targets to make me happier (or more depressed as the case may be)x_raphael_xx wrote: »*At least £200 saved onto credit card. I've paid a lot on, but overspent at bro's (and of course the dreaded interest came out). I should be able to end the month with about £115 paid back. So not too bad.
*Limit my food bill to £60 this month. Overspent by about £25 on this.:wall:
*Try to lose at least 3lbs. I desperately want to reach 16 stone this month. Still 4.lbs away from my target, but I did manage to lose 3.8 lbs this month. Which is good considering I pigged out at bro's.
*Keep my Brothers Birthday Visit spends to a minimum. Hopefully no more than £75. Spent about £90-£100, but this included £30 birthday money, and £35 on meal out so not too bad.
I think the reason I'm feeling down is that I'm not used to spending anymore:o rather than looking at the weekend as a great time and a treat for me, I keep looking at the 'wasted' money that could have gone on my credit card.
I must learn to go easier on myself!
Also my boss has now decided he isn't paying for my new glasses, it's a good job Specsavers wouldn't start making them until they were paid, else I'd be £115 out of pocket!Debt Free as of 17/01/2009 Turtle Power!!

Pay rise and three extra shifts are good.
So was a weekend spending more freely and enjoying yourself. After all, part of the point of becoming debt free is so you have spare money to use for that instead of interest.
Do you have a full prescription from Specsavers? If so, maybe time for some web shopping from one of the discount sites. Not so much a treat as necessary spending if you have the money - and you do, in spite of the debts.0
