Just wondered if its just me: Has anyone else noticed an increase in the number of error messages when trying to access surveys? I keep getting an "internal error" message and its beginning to put me off bothering if I'm going to put aside time and then find the whole site is down. I have this problem more often than I don't and have contacted VO about it numerous times, each time they apologise and say it wont happen again and...same thing happens the next time. I was just wondering if it's just me or if anyone else is having these issues?

Me too, I thought it was because I was using a tablet, then when I went on laptop it said the same so I just left it! I haven't been very successful with these at all!

I use Chrome and have used Chrome for years, I also have a desktop which I know for sure is not at fault as it's recently been repaired to within an inch of it's life and been given the gold standard by the very reputable company who repaired it.

I guess that VO need to start being bothered as their going to lose the attention of many people who simply can't access their surveys.

Nope, not at all. I do get constant errors in the post-survey/screenout questions (the "We may have a suitable survey, just answer these questions" pages), they always error when submitting my response. But the actual surveys, no problems at all.

I use Safari on a Macbook Pro, and haven't experienced many problems with VO. They're one of my favourite survey companies.

Don't think I've ever done any of their surveys using a tablet though, and not sure whether that format would work.

It might be an idea to clear all cookies and temporary internet files, including history, and check whether that makes any difference.

Also, lots of sites work better using 'compatibility view'. Go to Tools, and check this option.

Not sure what else to suggest, hope you get the problem sorted. VO is definitely worth persevering with.

    Good luck

I thought that when I read the instructions. I presume they just don't want people not using them and then trying to sell them.

Yes, I have the same situation as you. Did contact them when it first started happening had a reply but don't believe any action was taken by them.
I find it annoying that they are gleaning extra information this way.

I emailed them about it too, clearly nothing was done though as months on and it's still not working.
