Hi Beccie,
Great diary. We are both really similar, almost same age and same amount of debt. Fancy some rivalry to get it cleared (friendly of course!! )

Hi SVB, nice to have someone else joining us here. And a good bit of competition helps to get those debts cleared so you're on!Will go and have a look for your diary...

You may have made more progress than you think. And if not, I still think the holiday was a good choice, you need a break from working sometimes. If nothing else, it's really spurred me on and I am hoping that it will have made a difference to my DFD. So you have done your good deed for todayDebt at LBM Apr 2010 £28,767 Debt free as of Nov 2013 :j0 -
Hi Beccie
Have you heard of www.saynoto0870.com? You type in the premium rate number and they offer an alternative number to call that is at a normal rate.LBM Aug 09: £18,650.47 - Current: £12,854.93 (£5946.79)

Well, let's just see where we are at the end of the month. I cannot do my calculations until around the 5th September when all the debt totals are up to date. Remind me, what DFD are we aiming to get down to?Adam's diary - My Debt Diary - The Challenge | LBM May 2010 with £23,343.35 | £16,141.46 to go...

 at the 08 numbers! I had never even considered they would cost more from a mobile than on a landline, what a Bu*ger . I am so tight with my mobile now that all my friends/family know not to leave me a voicemail as I wont pay the 10p to pick it up :rotfl:.
Hope you get the money for the hotel room soon as well

I think it was April wasn't it? I seem to remember it was knock one month off in two months but I could be wrong. Off to hunt through my diary to find out...You can always request a ring bank too. That's what I do
That's a good idea, and then I should set up my own premium rate number they have to call me on and see how they like it! :rotfl::eek: at the 08 numbers! Ha ha, but it's easier if I give myself a little headstart!
Ok, how's about my 1st Sept we have both reduced our DFD to at least March 2013, that's one month off for you, two months off for me - and that's two paychecks to achieve it in
What do you say????
Found it Adam!:DDebt at LBM Apr 2010 £28,767 Debt free as of Nov 2013 :j0 -

And the MBNA card is done and dusted!
Unfortunately in my enthusiasm for paying it off I've actually overpaid it by £50 so will need to call them to get that back, but still, yay!
