:DI've gone sub 22K!!!!:D
And the MBNA card is done and dusted!
Unfortunately in my enthusiasm for paying it off I've actually overpaid it by £50 so will need to call them to get that back, but still, yay!

You're catching me up, really quickly
But still, I'm happy for you and CONGRATULATIONS:D:D

You'd better run faster! :rotfl:
Unfortunately from September when I start paying rent this will all slow down, that's why I've been making the most of it for now. I also wanted to use my bonus at the end of August to give me a boost but that's gonna be tied up in deposit in the new place now:beer: So today is a good day all round!!! It's nice that we both have a week of good news rather than both having Garfield Mondays
And I will definitely be getting my £50 back.
I didn't actually chase the job in the strip club, despite having my 'regular' hours taken away I seem to be doing ok (this weekend alone I have 12-7 on Sat and 12-4 on Sun) so I kind of let I go. I prefer to work where I already know if possible rather than trying to balance yet more shifts from another place with what I already do if that makes sense and doesn't just sound incredibly lazy?!
And of course, if times get hard again, the stripping is still there to fall back on...:rotfl:Debt at LBM Apr 2010 £28,767 Debt free as of Nov 2013 :j0 -
Becci, no one could ever accuse you of being lazy!
Lloyds love to dish out the money don't they, can you imagine how much they must make in interest on a daily basis?
I hate them so much because I think they are irresponsible in their lending as well as being robbing gits. I will never understand why they gave me such a high credit limit on my credit card, or an overdraft almost double what I take home a month. I take complete responsibility for spending it all, but they shouldn't have given me so much in the first place!
When I've paid it all back I might have to send them a letter telling them what I think of them, do you think anyone ever does, I'd love to read those letters!LBM Aug 09: £18,650.47 - Current: £12,854.93 (£5946.79)

I second what Woo said - you are definately NOT lazy! I don't blame you for wanting to stay somewhere you already know, that's what I wanted to do when I decided to go back to work in a pub but my old place don't need any staff
(and anyway the new place has worked out quite well!).

Well, next week is the test to how well we've done. I'm a little worried my DFD is going to be the same though, as my overpayments have not been too much than what was already stated on the snowball calculator...Adam's diary - My Debt Diary - The Challenge | LBM May 2010 with £23,343.35 | £16,141.46 to go...

I'd love to see letters like that - I have some very pleasant, nice things I could say to them.
Have to agree - my overdrafts are £1500 together, my loan was originally £8000 with them and my card has a £12000 limit!
My pay from my main job (and which this lending was based on) wouldn't even wipe out my overdrafts! :rotfl:Debt at LBM Apr 2010 £28,767 Debt free as of Nov 2013 :j0
