    Hi everyone

Well, woke up with a stinking cold this morning and have stayed in all day. However, I didn't get much done as was feeling rubbish. Then went for a nap this afternoon which I only ever do when I feel ill. Anyway, feel a bit better now. Still the plus side is that it is saving me petrol and I won't break into that tenner today.

I have been making a list of jobs that need doing before OH moves in. I work out that when I come back from Spain, there will be 11 weeks before he plans on moving in. Around one job a week will need to be done.

I have also made a list of Christmas presents that I need to get (free of course!) and I will not go over what is on that list (especially where niece is concerned - I always go overboard).

Right, must get some work done.

    Hi everyone

Feel better today. Hopefully the cold has gone before it got going. I went to sleep at 10pm last night which I think helped. I don't think I have gone to bed that early since I left school!!

Anyway, I think I lapsed slightly yesterday in my positive thinking so it is back today with a bang.

I was thinking that I would like a desk to work on. I often work sitting on the sofa, sitting on the bed or at my dining room table (which is ok but the chairs get a bit uncomfortable after a while). I think it would be good for me to have somewhere to escape too when OH moves in too. He can take over the living room and I can disappear into the bedroom to work at my desk when I need to.

I was thinking of this one:

    or maybe this one:

I don't need anything too big as all I have is a laptop and I don't want it to over power my bedroom. Will speak to OH about it, although he doesn't really have a say as it is my flat ;).

Might see if he will buy one for me for Christmas.

And as for a chair to go with it? Is there any other option than this one?

    So me!! :D

Another cheaper option and takes up less space is this one http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/20078234

I know what you mean about laptops nice to have somewhere to put them.

Thanks, there is an Ikea near my OH so next time I go up there, I will go and take a look. If they did it in pink then it would win hands down :rotfl:.

I know, I am swayed towards that desk. All I need is somewhere big enough for the laptop. I think anything bigger would just attract clutter. It would match in with my bedroom furniture too.

Bless my mummy. She bought me a pair of lovely pink PJs from M&S for my holiday. They have a cat on them too :D.

Must now throw a pair of my old PJs out as my chest of drawers is jam-packed as it is!

I looked for them on the M&S website so I could show you all but they aren't on there. I think she got them on sale. I will take a picture and try to post it.

We leave for Spain on 29 August at some ridiculous hour :( (pleased about the holiday but not the leaving time).
