Thanks. Sending all of my positive vibes towards Andy Murray at the moment. I hope he wins. I can't stand Federer. I find him so arrogant and think he kind of looks like a Gremlin.0 -

I have a knack for spotting what people look like. I also think that Nadal looks like some sort of rodent, like a hamster.0 -
Hi :hello:
I can second the Sainsburys basics curry sauce, Pooky who posts on the DFW daily chat, makes a huge curry in her slow cooker, using chick peas and other stuff and a couple of jars of curry sauce.
I always think that Federer looks so elegant on court.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0 -

Thanks for that. I may have to go to Sainsburys before the weekend to try their sauce then. I tried Tesco's curry sauce but didn't think much of it.
Don't get me wrong, I think that Federer is obviously a very talented player and always looks smart in his appearance. It is his face that looks like a Gremlin and he is always so arrogant and full of himself in post match interviews (especially when he beat Roddick after Wimbledon in 2009 - I thought the comments he made were appalling).
I prefer Nadal as a champion as he is so graceful about it and seems like a real gentleman and also seems really grateful when he wins, not like he expects to win all the time like Federer.
Will get off my tennis high horse now.

Somehow Federer doesn't look as though he should be playing tennis.
I'd much rather watch Nadal
I can see I'm going to have to watch tennis a bit more often to see the gremlinOfficial DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0 -
He won, he won, he won!!! Not that I'm pleased or anything
Congratulations Murray - you thoroughly deserved it.
I can relax now.0 -
Well Murray winning is obviously the positive highlight of my day
.
I also managed to avoid breaking into my tenner and had a lovely roast chicken dinner at my mum's (my favourite). My petrol is still ok too so looks good for lasting until Wednesday.
I didn't sleep well last night, had the most awful dream that I had cancer and was going to die. It felt so real. I woke several times during the night and had to remind myself that I didn't have cancer (I still had CF in the dream) but each time I fell back to sleep, I was in the same dream. The worst part was that I had nose bleeds in the dream and this afternoon I had a really bad nose bleed that took me ages to stop. How weird is that?
I know it may sound silly but I think I might speak to my nurse tomorrow about the nose bleed. I know it is probably just a coincidence but you never know. It was really bad and I have never had one like that before.
I also think the dream might have been triggered by the death of a CF patient on the forum that I read regularly. He was only in his early 20s. I really hate to read about things like that and my OH tells me not to go on the forum but I think it is important not to shy away from the reality of the disease that I have.
I hope I don't have that dream again tonight. Hopefully Murray's victory will create a dream about tennis. Or something with R-Patz in it will be fine. I'm not fussy.

Sorry to hear about your friend
Maybe the dream was a reaction to the news?
