The tiny spider that taught me a big lesson....

Evening all
Off to bed in a bit but thought I should update my diary.
I am all surveyed out today. I have lost count of the number I have done, mostly for To Luna. Just watch those totals shoot up soon. All the more for Xmas.
I put my £10 in for petrol today but my £4.10 remains untouched. I am going to my OH's tomorrow night and he is buying me a Chinese. I never used to like spicy food but recently all I want to eat is Chinese chicken curry. My dad would be very proud of his little girl (he loved a good curry!!).
I am also hoping that I can wangle some shopping from my OH too seeing as he usually eats me out of house and home when he comes over.
I started working on my budget today which is one of my goals. I want to have a working budget by the time OH moves in (late November). I also want to make sure I am up to date on all my bills by then too (another goal). In a way I am not looking forward to my OH moving in as I will lose some of my privacy and space but on the other hand, I will be £400 a month better off!!
I do love him but have never lived with a guy before so I guess this is a natural reaction. I'm sure I will get used to it. Just think how good my debt-clearing will be in 2011 with an extra £400 a month!!
Goodnight

Oh, don't you worry about that. He knows my ground rules!! He works in London so is only here during the week between 7pm and 7am so I will get 'me time' during the day. On Sundays I spent quite a bit of time round my mum's (which won't change) so he can have his 'me time' then.
The house he lives in now is shared and to be honest it is a pigsty but that is due to the guy he shares with and his girlfriend. My OH loves coming over to mine as it is (usually) clean and tidy. I don't think he will mess the place up. He is also bringing his Sky with him :T (have told him HE pays for it).

Morning everyone
Well I am at my OH's and while he languishes in bed, I am up dressed and raring to get on with my day.
Recently, thanks to MG's diary, I have been getting into being positive and trusting that the universe will provide if I have faith and banish any negative thoughts etc.
I was rewarded yesterday evening for my positivity. I only had £4 to last me the week, but my OH got my promised Chinese yesterday and the card machine was down. He sent me next door to get some cash out and there was already £10 sat in the cash machine :T. He obviously said I could keep it so I now have £14 to last the week.
It was suggested by MG that I get a lottery ticket and I said that if the universe meant for me to get one, then I would find another £1 before the deadline tonight. Well I haven't found £1 but I have found 17p since then. 1p outside OH's, 6p in Asda and 10p down the side of OH's sofa. Although I think the universe is encouraging me to buy a scratchcard if I do find £1 as I had to do a survey on them the other day and then saw 2 (losing) ones lying on the side in Asda last night.
I am really getting into all of the positivity.
On another positive note, my passport gets delivered on Wednesday.
Right, off to drag OH out of bed. I will report back later.
Have a good day everyone.

Thank you. I will sign up for that one. Before I do though, do you get any money for referrals? Send me a PM if you do and I can either give you my email address or you can send me your referral link.

Hi everyone
Back home now for the evening as OH has a stag do to go to. I didn't manage to find the rest of my pound. However, another couple of positive things happened.
My OH wanted to line his stomach for a night's worth of drinking so took us to TGIs for a meal. When he finished his, he noticed that the plate was cracked all the way through (it was sizzling chicken if anyone has ever had that before?). We bought this to the attention of the waitress and ended up getting his meal taken off the bill (nothing wrong with the meal at all) so what should have cost £34 only cost £21.
Also, OH went through his kitchen cupboards as he is preparing to move in with me in a few months and gave me a load of stuff to have at mine now, including some great baking trays and an expensive slow cooker!! No excuse now not to start cooking for me :T.
I am going to try really hard not to break into my £10 for as long as I can. Also I don't want to have to put any more petrol in until Wednesday. I drove 60 all the way home from OH's and now have 40 miles in the tank to last 3 days. However, I should only be going to my mum's and back so shouldn't be too much of a problem. I think they should make bumper stickers for us. Something like 'WARNING - SLOW MOVING VEHICLE - DFW BEHIND THE WHEEL!!'.
Off to do a bit of work now.
